<strong>Brian</strong> advises. “People become wary of MLM because
they think it’s about selling.” In his opinion,
it’s about sharing stories instead. “Most people in
network marketing don’t understand that you don’t
have to sell! If you sell, you fail. Our business is
about asking questions – about being a friend. You
listen to other people’s dreams and goals, and you
share your own.”. More important than earning
money, <strong>Brian</strong> believes, you should want to share
products that help people who are hurting and in
need – and this deeper, more selfless motivation is
what he believes truly drives people to great success.
He calls this “knowing your ‘why.’”
The foundation of <strong>Brian</strong>’s business is helping
other people identify their “why.” He asks every
new executive to name it, and to think about
it every day when they wake up: Why, aside from
making money, are you doing this business? “The
‘why’ should be strong,“ <strong>Brian</strong> says. “It should be a
why that makes you cry, that you will walk through
walls for.”
When asked what his “why” is, <strong>Brian</strong> doesn’t
hesitate at all: “My ‘why’ is the same as it always
has been: to make life easier for my mom, which
I’m able to do daily, and to make life easier for my
sister, who is a single mom. My ‘why’ is learning
and growing and continuously challenging myself.
I can give more and become more with Zrii, and
1. My best business tool is my online prospecting system because it shares the story each and every time,
the same way. It duplicates. The importance is duplication. You can be successful on this concept alone.
If you’re relying on how you present in a room, you can’t duplicate it. If it can’t work for Sally who’s the
homemaker, or Joe who’s the tow truck driver, it’s not going to have long-term success in your business.
Find a tool that everyone in your organization can use daily that duplicates in your organization.
2. “If I can do this business, then anyone can do this business.” We can do anything we want if we truly
want it bad enough. You have to be passionate about what you do.
3. Facts tell, stories sell. ”It’s about authenticity. I’m not a salesman. I’m just great at connecting, sharing,
and helping people accomplish what they need to accomplish.”
that’s why I’m with Zrii. My ‘why’ is to give other
people the freedom of choices that I have. I work
because I want to work – because I love doing it.
Not because I have to do it to pay the bills.”
In <strong>Brian</strong>’s opinion, sharing your “why” with other
people creates the sense of community that is so
unique to network marketing. “We all work together
and help one another,” <strong>Brian</strong> smiles. “As
we build other people, we build ourselves. As I put
my time and energy into you, I’m not thinking about
myself, even though I benefit. I’ll have everything I
need in my life if I help you. In this way, as network
marketers, we’re in the business of giving.”
