Dear Parents, Dignitaries, President (past and present), Executive Committee members (past and present) of Serendib Toastmasters Club, Toastmaster Rizwan Tahir, the person who introduced me to the Serendib Toastmasters Club, fellow Toastmasters, Chief Gavel Counselors (past and present) and the Gavel Counselors (past and present), Once you go through the below quotes that were extracted from our Gavel girl member’s magazine articles and my counterpart Toastmaster Indika’s write up as “incoming Gavel counselor – Serendib Boys Gavel Club”, I should not waste your valuable time in penning down my wisdom. We, Gavel counselors are like “gemcutters”, we assist in ‘polishing’ your daughter’s/son’s hidden talents to give them a lifelong value. Dear parents, please motivate us by sending your child to weekly meetings regularly. Kindly spread the word to your neighbor, friend about this invaluable structured program.
