Club InQuizitive organized the next edition of
CAMPUS TO COMPANY on 28th of August, 2016.
In this initiative the real campus selection process is
replicated. This consists of an email (essay)writing
test, Aptitude test TR & HR rounds. The entire
selection process is exactly similar to most of the
software company's Selection process. The purpose
of this event is to make the students perform better in
the upcoming Placement season. Also this event
made the things better and easier for students
during the selection process. Mr A.L.Kishore, Assoc
Professor @ BVRIT N is the Faculty Lead, Club
InQuizitive.
The Screening test w as provided by our Placement
team. (Courtesy: Mr Ravi Kiran, Asst Manager,
Placements, SVES). This edition is special because of
different reasons viz.,
We have chosen external mentors from different
(big) companies - FMC, Wells Fargo, XilinX,
SYNPOSYS, Deloitte @ TCS (#so that they get
different perspectives #all of them are our (proud)
Alumni from 2009,2010 passed out). The mentors
were Mr Rakesh (FMC), Mr N Sampat (TCS), Ms
Sandhya Madhuri (Wells Fargo) & Ms Srimayee
(XylinX). Mr Sriram (Deloitte) and Mr Sai Kumar
(Synopsys) are going interact with the students soon.
All the students were given chance to participate in
all the rounds (email writing, aptitude, Technical &
HR rounds). Their performance was recorded on the
evaluation sheet. In the sheets, their strengths and
weaknesses (Room for improvement) were given.
These sheets were given back to the students at the
end of the day.
Dress code was followed.
Also a special session on FACING INTERVIEWS was
conducted by Mr A L Kishore a couple of days earlier
to make students ready for Campus to Company.

“Bhaskara Block” the new block for IT
Department at BVRIT Narsapur was
inaugurated by the Chairman Sri.
K.V.Vishnu Raju on 22nd of July, 2016.
Dr. Srinivasan Sundarrajan, Director of
SVES also attended the ceremony.
Dr.Ashok Kumar Nanda became
Fellow member of the Institution of
Engineers (India), Kolkota and also
became the senior member of IEEE.
Dr.M.Prameela of EEE, BVRIT attended an
International Training Program on “DESIGN,
ERECTION, OPERATION, MAINTENANCE AND
PROTECTION OF EHV SUB-STATIONS Conducted by
CENTRAL INSTITUTE FOR RURAL ELECTRIFICATION
from 8th August 2016 to 2nd September 2016.
ANDROID APP FEST
The Department of IT, BVRIT Narsapur
organized 2-day training program
“Android App Fest” on 23rd-24th
August 2016. Mr. Shashank from
NADC, IIT New Delhi attended as
Resource person for this training
program. All the III B.Tech students
enthusiastically participated in the
training program. To encourage the
participants, coding contest on the
trained topics was conducted at the
end of the session. Miss Shireesha,
Miss Pujitha and Mr. Arun Sai of III
B.Tech IT have bagged the prizes.
Prof.Dasaradh was the Convener, Mr
Bheema and Mr. Haricharan Sharma
were the Coordinators for this App Fest.
IEEE awareness program is conducted for 2nd year students by the IEEE BVRIT student
branch. The chairperson of IEEE BVRIT is T. Vijay Mohan Singh and the faculty Mr. K.
Rama Krishna coordinated the programme.
Industrial Tour
A one day industrial trip to the Hydel power plant, Singur was organized on 12th August 2016
for the EEE students of BVRIT and was coordinated by Mr. K. Rama Krishna, Mr A.Vijay
Kumar and M.Murali, faculty of BVRIT.
IEEE Programmes
