hits DOUBLE Century
BVRITH proudly announces the crossing of 200 placement offers for the very first batch (2012-16) of students. So far 142
out of 183 eligible students were placed in various companies. Seven students secured above 5 lakh per annum package.
BVRITH has also opened its account for 2013-17 batch, with 2 students already getting placed in John Deere with 5 LPA
package!
Honorable chairman of SVES, Shri K.V.Vishnu Raju garu and Principal Dr.K.V.N.Sunitha garu congratulated the students,
Placement Team and Faculty for this achievement. S.Jagapathi Reddy, Placement Manager thanked the Management,
Central Placement Pell, College Placement Team and all the faculty members under the leadership of dynamic Principal, for
their active support in making this possible.
Memorable Moments
with Q Cares Team
“People can only live fully by helping others to live”, with this motive, a group of people from QUALCOMM formed a team
named “Q Cares” with the aim of sharing their practical experience, working culture in corporate with the young budding
engineers for their professional growth with human values. BVRIT Hyderabad is proud enough for being the first college
selected by Q Cares team to initiate the Knowledge sharing Session. It is really a great boon and experience for students of
BVRIT Hyderabad. It's really correlates with the vision of our beloved Chairman's to promote innovative practices at the
campus. Mr. Sudhir, with his team of 20 people from Q Cares shared their knowledge with students in 10 sessions separately
for ECE, EEE and CSE, IT respectively useful for their domain along with general sessions related to placements. Happy to
share that Honorable Chairman, SVES Sri K V Vishnu Raju felt grateful for their excellence in service oriented and felicitated
each person of the team along with the presence of Principal Dr. K V N Sunitha, Placement Manager Sri Jagapathi Reddy,
HOD's . It's a great memorable moment and one of the mile stone in the history of BVRIT Hyderabad!!!!!!. Team of Qualcomm
really excited with the support extended by Principal Dr. K V N Sunitha and also thanked to Sri Jagapathi Reddy, Manager
Placements and team for their perfect planning for smooth conduction of program.
Two day Colloquium on
“Inspiring Young Engineers Aspiring for Start-up”
Under IEEE Student Branch, with new Executive Committee members the first mega Inter college event “Inspiring Young
Engineers Aspiring for Start up” with a motive of Digital India Making was conducted at BVRIT Hyderabad on 29th & 30th
July 2016.The event was graced by successful start up's evangelists. 150 Students from 20 different Engineering colleges
and 150 students from BVRIT Hyderabad attended the session and made it a grand success. On the first day, program was
initiated with a grand inaugural ceremony graced by Mrs. Rajalakshmi Sivanand, Sr. Director, HR, Model N as chief guest
and Mr. Bhaven Shah, Founder & COO of Freight Bazaar Past Chair, Young Indians-Hyderabad chapter, CII as the guest of
honour along with honourable Chairman Sri. K. V. Vishnu Raju, Director Sri. S. Sundarrajan, Principal Dr.K.V.N Sunitha and
Student Branch Counselor Mrs.M Praveena .
Sri K V Vishnu Raju delivered a motivation lecture for the gathering aiming for start-up. Mrs. Rajalakshmi Sivanand inspired
the gathering with her real life experiences and all the hurdles she came across in her life. Mr. Bhaven Shah delivered
keynote address on the kind of support available for Start Ups.
Mr. Pankaj Diwan, Managing Director, UPTEC Idea Labs addressed the audience regarding, the requirements for a
successful entrepreneur and the role of IOT Makerspace in entrepreneurship development. An interesting and entertaining
session by Mr. Sri Charan, CEO Founder, Stumagz was the next. He has related real life scenario with entrepreneurship. He
stated that we need not think big to be a successful entrepreneur but learn from real life experiences. Mrs. Radhika
Meenakshi Shankar the founder of Wise Owl Consulting has continued the session by explaining how a silly idea can be
implemented successfully. Her speech was very refreshing.
With more exciting, the second day of colloquium was commenced with the session of Mr. Vijay Bawra, the manager, 10000
start-ups, NASSCOM. He explained the kind of support NASSCOM offers to start-up companies. He has also revealed how
many big companies like Google, Amazon, and Facebook are all funding the start-ups and later acquiring them. Mr. Uma
Shankar Founder, Call Ambulance shared his ideas on successful entrepreneurship. Mr. Viiveck Varma the Founder of SAHE,
Co-organizer – TEDx, Hyderabad has explained that for implementation of Ideas, the two most important things are
execution and monitoring. The founder of Possibillion Technologies Mr. Ayyappa Nagubandi told about his journey from the
first business he has started and what are the ups and downs he experienced. He showed his trendy T-shirt with LED's that
were manufactured in his company. It was really a wonderful experience. Session by Mr. Vamsi Krishna, Vice Chair, IEEE –
Young Professionals – Hyderabad section conveyed the importance of being ourselves.
An Ideathon contest was held on 30th July afternoon for the participants who are interested to share their ideas before the
jury comprising of Mr. Pankaj Diwan, MD, UPTEC Idealabs, Mr. Vamsi Krishna, Vice Chair, YP – Hyderabad section, Mr.
Priyakanth, Faculty Coordinator, ATL. At the end of Ideathon Mr. Pankaj gave valuable suggestions on their ideas like how to
modify them, how to present their idea to the outside world. The most memorable and successful event came to an end with
a Valedictory session graced by Principal Dr.K.V.N. Sunitha, Guest of Honor, Mr. J. Vamsi Krishna Vice Chair, IEEE – Young
Professionals – Hyderabad section and Mr. Pankaj Diwan, MD, UPTEC Idea Labs.

“CLASSIC”AL PERFORMANCE
A CARNATIC VOCAL
MUSICAL CONCERT
Sri Abhishek Raghuram garu, an Indian carnatic vocal, performed a two hour concert VIRASAT 2016 conducted under the
aegis of SPICMACY “The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Among Youth” a non-profit,
voluntary, apolitical and participatory youth movement, at BVRITH College of Engineering, Hyderabad. He has an impressive
record internationally in concerts and recitals. He was accompanied by Shankaranarayanan Ramani on mridangam and
Akkarai Subhalakshmi on voilin.
In order to demonstrate and teach about the many facets of Indian culture and heritage Spic Macay has organized this
concert at BVRITH. BVRIT H was fortunate to host this program and get benefited. BVRITians saw classical music come
alive. It was a virtuoso performance , It was commanding, exciting and vibrant experience. The SPICMACY ensemble played
with great panache and the audience experienced a heartfelt performance.
