(v) The evaluation of all entries for each Award shall be made by the Jury to be appointed by the Promoter for this purpose. The Secretary General shall be the member of all the regional and the national jury with voting rights. The Jury shall convey their final selection for each Award to the Professional Advisor, who shall be present at all meetings but shall not be a voting member. The Professional Advisor shall communicate the decision of the Jury to the Founder President, ArchiDesign Awards. (vi) In case of a tie, the decision of the Founder President, ArchiDesign Awards shall be final and binding on all. He holds the Veto Power as well. Chapter - VI Selection (Common to all Awards) (I) The National Jury shall consist of a maximum of 8 to 10 members + the Founder Chairman, ArchiDesign Awards. (ii) The members of the Jury shall be from the fields of Architecture & allied professions, artists, experts and whose professional competence has been acknowledged. (iii) Mr. Sudhir Sarup, Editor-in-Chief, ArchiDesign Perspective & the Founder Chairman, ArchiDesign Awards shall appoint the members of the Jury every year. (iv) The term of any Jury member in a specific category shall in no case exceed two consecutive years (v) The quorum of a meeting of Jury shall be 5 (five) of its members for Principal Awards & minimum of 3 for Commendation Awards. (vi) The decision of the Jury shall be by majority. In the event of a tie, the final decision shall rest with Mr. Sudhir Sarup, Editor-in-Chief, ArchiDesign Perspective and the Founder President, ArchiDesign Awards and shall be binding on all, as the case may be. (vii) The decisions, deliberations, opinions and proceedings of the Jury in connection with the Award shall be kept strictly confidential and will not be made public or otherwise revealed at any forum/place by any member of the Jury or those present there on behalf of Award Secretariat or Secretary General or Professional Advisor etc. (viii) Decision of the Jury shall be final and without appeal and shall be binding on all. (ix) Award-winning entries shall be exhibited at the Presentation Ceremony, and the Editor-in-Chief, ArchiDesign Perspective for publication purposes in brochures, journals, advertisement, magazines etc can use the same, together with the Awardees' photographs etc. And shall be a property of the ArchiDesign Group. Chapter - VII “Come, take your share of the World” Presentation of the Awards (Common to all Awards) (I) Presentation of the Awards shall be made at New Delhi at a special ceremony. (ii) The Winners, the Awardees shall be invited to receive the Award in person. For all Principal and Commendation Awards, presence of the Winner whose name is given in the Form has to be present to receive the Award. If anyone of the Awardees, for very exceptional ArchiDesign Awards 2016 ArchiDesign Awards for Excellence in Architecture & Infrastructure 2016 reason cannot be present, his or her nominee may be considered for receiving the Award on his or her behalf with prior written confirmation. However, for the nominee, no travel or accommodation shall be provided by the Award Secretariat. (iii) In such a case where the Winner of the Principal Award or Commendation Award for whatever reasons could not come to receive the Award, the Award Secretariat shall not pay for the travel or hospitality charges of the Nominee of the Winner, in such a case. (iv) In the case of a Firm or Pvt. Ltd., registers for the Award, The Principal Architect, or the Mg. Director shall be considered for receiv8ing the Awards. (v) Non-acceptance of Awards: Should anyone of the Awardees decline an Award, the Award will immediately revert back to the Editor-in-Chief, ArchiDesign Perspective and the Founder President, ArchiDesign Awards. (vi) The Award shall be given to only one whose name is written iun the Application Form, Person or Organisation. No change of name shall be allowed once the Jury meets and Winners are declared. Chapter - VIII General (Common to all Awards) It’s On! (I) Any member of the Jury / Advisory Board, Chairman, Secretary General, Professional Advisor, Chief Coordinator can propose an amendment in the Code of Procedures. The same will be put to the Core Committee/Jury for acceptance by majority. However, Mr. Sudhir Sarup, Editor-in-Chief, ArchiDesign Perspective and the Founder Chairman, ArchiDesign Awards shall take the final decision on any such an amendment and it has to bear his consent. (ii) Mr. Sudhir Sarup, Editor-in-Chief, ArchiDesign Perspective and the Founder Chairman, ArchiDesign Awards shall also have the right to make amendments in the Code of Procedure in consultation with the Core Committee/Jury and shall have voting right. (iii) Each entry shall have separate tracking number and application form. (iv) SK ArchiDesign & Media Services Pvt. Ltd., promoter of the ArchiDesign Awards, shall provide the Secretariat for the ArchiDesign Awards. (v) Employees / Associates of the Promoters, SK ArchiDesign & Media Services Pvt. Ltd., Jury members, Secretary General, Professional Advisor/ Core Committee Members and / or any other person / body / agency associated with the ArchiDesign Awards or the Sponsors are debarred from participating in the competition. To add here, a minimum gap of two years must be maintained for such person/participant/entrants. (vi) There is no entry fee for participation. One can send as many entries as he or she wishes to send. And also that one entry cannot be sent for more that 2 categories. Photocopying of the Application Form is permitted. But each Entry applied for must have all requirements of it fully met with. (vii) While utmost care is taken for all entries received, the Awards Secretariat will not be responsible for any loss / damage to the entry made during their possession. All the entries received shall be in the custody of the Awards Secretariat, and can be used for publication, exhibition etc. at any given time.
