Commitment 1 Action steps 1. Maximize non-local funding by identifying new revenue streams, applying for available grants, maximizing billing for federal funds for Medicaid waiver services, Medicaid Administrative Claiming, as well as involvement in the Medicaid Waiver Funding Re-design taskforce. Effectively utilize and maximize local funding received by researching and identifying other sources to fund current programs and initiatives with the use of local dollars as payer of last resort.
