Big thanks to everyone that braved the heat to join us for the groundbreaking of our new Saint Joseph
Cornerstone Alliance, and our credit union neighbors were in attendance at the new location. The new
6,000 square-foot office, which is being designed by architect Jeff Klymson and built by contractor E.C.
Moore, is located at 2712 Niles Avenue and is tentatively scheduled to open during the Summer of 2017.
The
biggest
thanks
Best CU To Work For
Honor named one of the best in the country
Honor Credit Union was recently named one of the “Best Credit Unions To Work For” in the nation,
by the CU Journal. The award recognizes credit
unions that excelled on a variety of topics, including
creative incentive plans, volunteering,
engaging employees in decision-making, health
and wellness programs and perks like holiday
parties and off-site adventures.
“We treat every employee with respect, fairness,
truth and integrity. These are our core values,”
said Honor’s Employee Relations Manager Eric
Rodgers. “Honor Credit Union’s culture promotes
empowerment at all
levels of the organization,
keeping team
members feeling valued
and engaged.
This leads to good
team morale across all
of Honor branch locations
and operations
center.”
Powered By Honor is getting a new name . . . Honor Credit Union Foundation! The Honor Credit Union
Foundation will operate exactly how Powered By Honor has in the past; donating grant funds to local
charity organizations and supporting local graduating seniors on their educational journeys through the
Community Commitment Scholarship. This name change will bring a more consistent and powerful recognition
of what the HCU Foundation is, for internal Honor team members as well as our communities.
Don’t forget to follow Honor on
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube!
