of the historic Custom House as your reception venue. Its elevated position<br />
commands uninterrupted sea views. Elegant decor complements its<br />
beamed ceilings and character nooks and crannies. Sumptuous food, fine wines<br />
and friendly staff ensure both you and your guests will be well looked after.<br />
And, as a bonus, for all but the<br />
most intimate weddings, the<br />
whole of the building is yours<br />
for the day. Your guests can<br />
meet in the informal<br />
downstairs cafe bar, with an al<br />
fresco patio for fine days, then<br />
dine in the elegant dining<br />
room, spilling out onto the<br />
wonderful sweeping outside<br />
staircase which is perfect for<br />
photographs.<br />
The Custom House has been perfecting its wedding service for nearly 20 years and<br />
offers couples the chance to build whatever they like into their reception. Couples<br />
are invited to discuss their requirements over a cup of coffee and staff are happy<br />
to organise cake, flowers and evening entertainment if required. Up to 70 guests<br />
can be catered for a sit-down meal, or 120 for a buffet. For more intimate<br />
receptions, the Beamed Room upstairs, with its lovely waterside views, seats 30<br />
for a meal or 50 for a buffet.<br />
