WASHINGTON, DC
DC Medicaid
The District of Columbia’s Medicaid program provides health care coverage to low-income
and/or disabled individuals and families. Medicaid covers doctor visits, hospital care,
prescriptions, mental health services, transportation and many other services.
DC Healthcare
Alliance
The DC Healthcare Alliance provides health care coverage to individuals and families who
are not eligible for Medicaid. The Alliance is a DC funded program that includes a range of
health care services to include primary care services, doctor visits, prescription drugs, dental
services and wellness programs.
Immigrant
Children’s Program
Administered by the DC Department of Health Care Finance, the Immigrant Children’s
Program provides health coverage to individuals under the age of 21 and who are not eligible
for Medicaid. Services covered under the Immigrant Children’s Program are identical to
Medicaid offerings.
