WASHINGTON, DC<br />
DC Medicaid<br />
The District of Columbia’s Medicaid program provides health care coverage to low-income<br />
and/or disabled individuals and families. Medicaid covers doctor visits, hospital care,<br />
prescriptions, mental health services, transportation and many other services.<br />
DC Healthcare<br />
Alliance<br />
The DC Healthcare Alliance provides health care coverage to individuals and families who<br />
are not eligible for Medicaid. The Alliance is a DC funded program that includes a range of<br />
health care services to include primary care services, doctor visits, prescription drugs, dental<br />
services and wellness programs.<br />
Immigrant<br />
Children’s Program<br />
Administered by the DC Department of Health Care Finance, the Immigrant Children’s<br />
Program provides health coverage to individuals under the age of 21 and who are not eligible<br />
for Medicaid. Services covered under the Immigrant Children’s Program are identical to<br />
Medicaid offerings.<br />
