Join all the Action downstairs in the Main Entrance!
Raffle Table: Purchase a book of 10 tickets for $5. Write your name in the book on the corresponding
number. Place your tickets in the bag for the desired prize. Lots of great prizes
to be won.
Toonie Drop: Drop a toonie in the water jug, if it goes in the cup you enter a ballot for a
chance to win half the money and an Xbox one!
Lucky Player Draw: Purchase a Square for $3. Draw a chip with a players name on it, and
write your name on the corresponding block. If your number is drawn you win 1/3 of the
money and the player picked wins 1/3 too!
Player Shoot Out: For the kids only. $1 for 3 shots. Get all 3 shots in, place your name on a
ballot for a chance to win a neat prize.
The Action starts 9:00 am—3:15pm .
Draws will begin 3:30pm. ID must be shown to pick up prizes.
50/50’s : Purchase a square for $2, write your name in it. If your number is drawn half the
money is yours. Each Draw will take place once all the squares are purchased. All purchasers
of a 50/50 block will be placed into a grand prize draw for an IPad Mini! The more
blocks you purchase the greater your chances are of
winning!

Novice Hockey Tournament Rules
1. Tournament will follow hockey Alberta rules.
2. There will be a 5 minute warm up prior to each game.
3. Coaches are not allowed on the ice surface at any time during warm-ups
4. Teams will shake hands at the end of each game and will line up on the blue lines so Heart
and hustle prizes can be given out.
5. Home team is the first team designated on the schedule (Team on the left)
6. There is a 3 game rule in effect. If a player scores more than 3 goals in a game further goals
will not count and will result in a face off inside the blue line.
7. All minor Penalties will be 2 minutes in duration. Major penalties will be 5 minutes.
8. Scorekeepers will not show more than a 5 point difference on the clock.
9. All Referee decisions are final. All tournament committee decisions are final.
10. All games will consist of 3 20 minute periods, Straight Time.
11. Floods will take place following each game.
12. Have Fun!!
Tournament participants are expected to show respect at all times. This includes respect for
the officials, the fans, the tournament volunteers and of course the opposing team. Any issues
resulting from a lack of respect on ice will be dealt with by officials. Any issues resulting
from behaviour off ice will be at the discretion of the tournament grievance committee.
