the magic of a Disney vacation.
Through countless trips and helping plan thousands more, I've
developed a series of what I call Mousetips. This is a collection of
the most important things you need to make your trip even more

for you – free Disney buttons. Head over to any guest services in the parks and resorts and ask for
a celebration button. Once you have your button, wear it all vacation. You will definitely get a lot
of attention from the cast members and maybe even a surprise or two - who knows

Park Hours
When planning your days in Disney, it is a
great idea to know what the park hours
will be for your trip.
Disney is constantly updating their park
hours to include not only their opening
and closing times, but also the start times
for their parades, nighttime spectaculars
and other events throughout the day.
Knowing these times will help make sure
you don’t miss any of the magic in the
parks!

How Tall?
For your safety, Disney has created height
requirements for a selection of their
attractions. Before you start planning out
which attractions you want to ride, make sure
your child is tall enough to experience it. It
would be quite disappointing to arrive at an
attraction you have been looking forward to
only to find your little one isn’t quite tall
enough to experience it.

Memory Maker is a Must
Disney makes it so easy for everyone to be in
your vacation photos. Disney photographers
are waiting throughout the parks ready to
capture your family’s magical moments. By
adding Memory Maker to your package, you
will get digital photos of character meet and
greets, attraction photos, and even some fun
“magic shots,” and videos.

Special Events Add More Magic
Disney loves to celebrate, and really, who doesn’t? There are special events hosted throughout the
year at Walt Disney World that brings just a little extra magic to your vacation. Many people plan
their entire trip around some of these special events - from flowers to food to holiday celebrations,
Disney does it all!
Don't forget to ask me about special events during your visit.

Magic Bands
MagicBands and cards are secure all-in-one devices that allow you to effortlessly access the plans
and vacation choices that you’ve made with My Disney Experience. They are colorful, waterproof
wristbands that connect you to everything Disney.
You can use your MagicBand to:
-Unlock the door of your Disney Resort hotel room.
-Enter theme and water parks (with valid admission).
-Check in at FastPass+ entrances.
-Connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account.
-Charge food and merchandise purchases to your Disney Resort hotel room (only available during
your hotel stay).
Make sure to go into your My Disney Experience account and customize your colors so that Disney
can send these bands directly to your home before you travel. I suggest you do it now, so we don't
forget.

Magical Express
One of the many benefits of being a guest of
Walt Disney World is Disney’s Magical Express.
If you are flying into Orlando International
Airport (MCO), Disney offers free shuttle
service from the airport to your resort to start
your vacation and a ride back to the airport
when your vacation comes to an end.
If you haven't sent me your flight times, please
do so now so I can get everything set and
reserve your ride and get your special tags.
When you use Magical Express, you bypass the
luggage pick up at the airport and your bags
will magically show up at your room. Note that
bags are only delivered until 10 pm, after that,
call Bell Services to arrange delivery.

Your Planning Binder
Planning binders are a great way to keep all your Disney planning in one place. They visually help
me see my entire vacation in an easy to follow format.

Question - Stroller Rental?
To get a stroller or not? That is the question
and only you can determine what is best for
your child and your family. Disney rents
strollers in the parks and there are also some
off site businesses that are great options, let
me know if you want information.
I'd be happy to prearrange a stroller for you,

Extra Magic = Extra Fun
Who doesn't want extra time in the parks?
All guests staying on Disney property have
an extra benefit of more time in the parks.
Make sure to plan your schedule around
these extra hours because the crowds are
smaller, so you get lots more ride time.
Many times you can zip from ride to ride
and really take advantage of this extra
time.

Mousekeeping Tips
Disney cast members want to make sure you enjoy every moment of your stay whether in the parks
or at your resort. Mousekeepers are the cast members who clean up your room daily and
sometimes even leaving some fun surprises.
While creating your Disney budget, you may want to consider adding in the cost of leaving a daily
tip for the person who is taking care of your room. $5-$10 a day is what I typically tip.

Water Parks Fun and More
Not only does Walt Disney World have four theme parks to keep you entertained during your
vacation, but they also have two very well themed water parks – Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard
Beach. If you are considering visiting either of these parks during your stay, contact me for more

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Calling all little princesses and princes!
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique located inside the
World of Disney store at Disney Springs or at
Magic Kingdom is a magical salon that transforms
guests ages 3-12 into their favorite Disney
princess through hair styling, make-up, and
manicures. Packages range from $55 to $200 and
you can book 180 days ahead.

Disney World has their very own
transportation system. The best part,
whether by sea (well, waterways!) or land,
you get to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride
as you make your way to the theme parks,
resorts, Disney Spring and more.
Free Wi-Fi in the Parks
Did you know that Disney offers free Wi-Fi at
their resorts, parks, water parks, Disney
Springs, and pretty much everywhere on
property?
Simply connect to the Walt Disney World
Resort Network from your mobile device.
Disney has great signage on their property
to help you get around, or do what I do and
just ask!.
This is great news if you plan to use the My
Disney Experience inside the parks!

Use Those Snack Credits Wisely
Snacks at Walt Disney World are often the
highlight of my day in the parks. I look
forward to a Mickey shaped ice cream bar
or a some other yummy treat.

Interactive Fun for Everyone
Disney has created free interactive
experiences throughout the parks. The
activities are a great way to get to know the
parks better, as well as have some fun along
the way. Check out these great activities to
bring a little extra adventure to your vacation:
● Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure in
Epcot
● Wilderness Explorers in Disney’s Animal
Kingdom
● Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom in the
Magic Kingdom
● A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasure of the Seven
Seas at Magic Kingdom
There is already so much to do in Disney parks
and these interactive activities add an extra
layer of, well, magic!
Disney also has interactive queues throughout
the park that make standing in line an
adventure in itself. Watch for them at some of
the most popular rides and attractions.

Character Meet and Greets
There are a lot of free Character Meet and
Greets throughout the parks. When you head
into the parks, there will be a Times Schedule
sheet you can pick up with your park map. This
will include all the times each character will
be greeting guests and where they will be.
In Magic Kingdom is Princess Fairytale Hall.
You can get FastPasses for this royal meet and
greet experience. Currently there are two
lines and each line has two princesses.
Your Resort Refillable Mug
If you are on the dining plan, each member of
your travel party will receive one refillable mug
as part of your dining plan for unlimited refills
at your resort. Not on the dining plan? You can
purchase a refillable mug at your resort.
Not only will you have plenty of refills, but you
will take home a great souvenir...your mug!
Remember, they are only good at your resort.
More Than Burger and Fries
Dining in Disney is an adventure in itself. Even with their quick service dining spots, your options
are far beyond hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken nuggets (though they do have those available
too)! Quick service options have something for everyone: quesadillas at Tortuga Tavern, fish and
chips at Yorkshire County Fish Shop, and ribs and chicken combo at Flame Tree Barbecue are just

Face Painting at Disney
One of the favorite things for kids of all ages is face painting. It's a great way to make your kids feel
special and the detailing is amazing.
I think the adults often like it as much, or more than the kids!

Rider Switch Service
Do you want to ride a ride, but your child does
not? Disney's Rider Switch Service is the
answer. Simply enter the queue and tell the
cast member you want to take advantage of the
Rider Switch Service. They will give you a card
so when you get up to the ride, one adult rides
with the rest of your group while the other
waits with the child, then you switch adults.

ask any cast member for more details!

Free Water
We have two tips for getting that cold drink of water without having to pay.
1 - bring in a sports bottle and refill at the drinking fountains.
2 - any place that has fountain drinks, simply ask for a glass of water in a cup.
These tips save you a bit of money and helps keep you hydrated in the Florida sunshine.

Rope Drop - Early Start
Want to get a head start on the day?
Arrive at the parks early! Most days
Disney opens the parks with a special
ceremony called Rope Drop. When
the park opens hurry to your favorite
attractions. Plan to be at the parks 30
minutes before opening, and you will
be surprised at how many attractions
you can experience before the
crowds start to build.
Like they say, the early bird gets the
worm, and that really holds true in
Walt Disney World!

Early Breakfast
How do I love getting that perfect picture of Cinderella’s Castle, the Tree of Life, Spaceship Earth
and other park attractions without other fellow Disney guests in the picture?
Early breakfast in the park! I try to schedule the first breakfast of the day and on my way to eat, I
stop and get that perfect picture.
These spots fill up quickly, so we'll want to schedule early.

Parade Viewing
Disney’s parades are full on productions and are not to be missed! The sights and sounds of the
floats, characters, music and more will keep you entertained from beginning to end. If you want to
be sure you have a good view for the afternoon parade, make sure you find a spot early! Grab a
snack, a drink and secure a spot along the parade route. Not only will you be entertained, but it
will be a nice little snack break before you head back to your favorite attractions!

Lost and Found - It Happens
Just in case you happen to lose something while in Walt Disney World, there is a Lost and Found
located at each of the four theme parks. If your item isn’t found the day you ask, no worries! Just
fill out a small form with your contact information and if it shows up. Disney will contact you. If
you have lost your Magic Bands, you can have duplicates made at Guest Relations in the parks and
resorts. If you realize you lost something after returning home, call Lost and Found directly at
(407) 824-4245.
In Park Baby Care Centers
Traveling with an baby is easy at Walt
Disney World. Each of the four parks
have Baby Care Centers which provide a
convenient place to feed, change and
nurse little ones.
Baby Care Centers are fully staffed and
feature a host of helpful amenities for
parents with infants and toddlers, and
of course, they are complimentary.

We all love spending time together as a family in Disney, but some nights, you might want to have a
romantic dinner or a night out, while the children have a little extra Disney fun.
Disney offers several options for Child Care Services, from in room babysitting to interactive and fun
child care centers at select Disney resorts.

Express Transportation
Now you can breeze between all 4 Walt Disney World® Resort
theme parks with fast, nonstop bus service that drops you
inside the main gates—and closer to the magic—so they can
start playing right away.
If you have tickets with the Park Hopper® option (or a Walt
Disney World Resort Annual Pass), adding Express
Transportation is a great way to pack even more fun into the
day. Special buses take you directly to the drop-off location
inside the theme park you want to visit next—with no waiting
to reenter at the gate.
Express Transportation buses depart approximately every 30
minutes and are available each day from 10 a.m. until park
closing. This new option allows you to travel directly between
each of the theme parks – with no other stops along the way.
Plus, you will be let off inside the main gate, so they’re in the
middle of fun from the moment they arrive. Your will enjoy
unlimited transfers between all 4 theme parks – for as long as
their Express Transportation is valid.
Express Transportation tickets are available to Guests holding
valid theme park admission with the Park Hopper® option and
to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. The price per guest
(ages 3+) is $15 for a single day ticket (valid for date of
purchase only), or $24 for a multi-day ticket (valid for up to 7
consecutive days beginning on date of purchase).

What to Pack
Packing for Disney is just as much a part of the
planning process as everything else. You want
to have everything you need (forgotten items
can be very costly in Disney) without over
packing, especially with the today’s airline
limits on the weight of your luggage and even
the number of bags you are allowed to bring.

Packing Your Day Bag
Packing a bag for your trip into the parks is
a must and here are a few items we highly
recommend: sunscreen, water bottle, rain
poncho, light snacks, wet wipes, facial
tissue, bandaids, phone charger, and any
medicine you might need.
Of course, there are first aid stations
throughout the parks if you need them and
don't forget about the Baby Care Centers in
each theme park.
Projected Weather
Have you had a chance to take a look at the
projected weather?
Be prepared! Central Florida weather can
change quickly, so make sure you plan ahead
and be prepared for anything.

I typically grab a few inexpensive ponchos
from the dollar store and throw them in my day
bag so I am always ready for those pop up rain
showers.
Final Tips
Make sure your Magic Bands are packed in your carry on. Once you get to the airport and head
to Magical Express, put the band on and it will make checking in go smoothly. No need to pick
up your bags, Disney will deliver those to your room. Typically this takes a few hours, so make
sure you have what you need in your day bag.
Make sure you have checked in on line then when you arrive at the resort, head to the On Line
Check In desk and set up your PIN for your Magic Band.
Go visit the resorts quick service restaurant and pick up your refillable resort mug (if you have a
dining plan) and get that activated and enjoy a cool drink.
