Unless specific directions are given, all juniors will meet for their scheduled clinic time and play day on the Golf
Shop patio. Please be sure to have your child check in a little early so we may start at the designated time.
What happens if there is inclement weather?
The Golf Shop will use their best judgment when inclement weather is in the area. Our main concern is the safety
Volunteers are an important element of our program's annual success. Most on course events
that we conduct require between 5-10 parents. Your support and assistance is greatly
appreciated. Note: every effort will be made to assign you a time near your son/daughter (if
they are participating). To volunteer, please contact Jesse at jsiegel@dmgcc.org.

Interclub Events are a great opportunity for juniors to play against and at the local clubs
in our area. Wakonda, Hyperion, Echo Valley, Glen Oaks and DMGCC will each host an
interclub competition. The field sizes for these events are limited. So preceding each
Interclub competition there will be a qualifying event to determine the participants.
The Junior Golf Program has been fortunate the past few years to have had
the opportunity to attend the Jr. Day at the John Deere Classic. We look to
continue that tradition this year as a part of the Junior Golf Program. This is
a great opportunity for the juniors to not only watch, but learn from the
game’s best. It’s a fun filled day with lots of youth activities, a youth clinic
and watching practice rounds. Unfortunately, the space is limited for this event
and will have a lottery to determine the 47 available spots

The Family Course Program allows family members to play golf from appropriate yardages, which
builds confidence, enjoyment and the ability to maintain pace of play.
