Established in 1978, Region Food Industries Sdn<br />
Bhd (RFI) has been acquired by KFC in 1994.<br />
Since then RFI has become leading Malaysian<br />
manufacturer of authentic sauces under the brand<br />
name “Life”.<br />
A new chapter begins with the relocation of its<br />
plant in Port Klang, Selangor in 2004. It marks<br />
another achievement in bringing the best to our<br />
customers. Equipped with state-of-the-art<br />
machinery, efficiency is maximized and<br />
productivity is taken to the optimum levels. RFI’s<br />
average monthly production is 2000 metric tons<br />
per month.<br />
Accreditation by the recognized bodies with<br />
stringent quality standards such as HALAL<br />
(JAKIM), SIRIM, HACCP (MOH) and ISO 9001<br />
(SGS) confirmed RFI’s hallmarks in delivering<br />
quality products in meeting customer satisfaction.<br />
Quality begins from the selection of the best<br />
ingredients to the final production process. Only<br />
the fresh premium-quality natural ingredients are<br />
used to produce Region Food products. The recent<br />
certification by Malaysia Productivity Corporation<br />
(MPC) for implementing the standard<br />
requirements of Quality Environment<br />
Management System for practicing world class 5S<br />
practices confirmed the company’s continuous<br />
improvement for a better quality products and<br />
process.<br />
Life Chilli Sauce, Tomato Ketchup and Thai Chilli<br />
Sauce are served exclusively at KFC outlets in<br />
Malaysia as well as in Singapore, Cambodia,<br />
Vietnam, Brunei, Bangladesh, Myanmar and<br />
Mauritius. Life products are also being distributed<br />
to Hypermarkets such as Tesco, Giant, Aeon Big,<br />
Mydin and supermarkets such as 99speedmart.<br />
Our product line consists of “favorite sauces” such<br />
as Tomato Ketchup, Chilli Sauce, Thai Chilli Sauce,<br />
Chilli Sauce Lime, Hot Chilli Sauce and Ginger &<br />
Garlic Sauce. Adding to the variety is our<br />
“Oriental Sauces” range which features Oyster<br />
Flavored Sauce, Hoisin Sauce, Plum Sauce, Sweet<br />
& Sour Sauce, Oriental Barbecue Sauce, Barbecue<br />
Sauce Hickory Smoke, Black Pepper Sauce, and<br />
Pure Sesame Oil. The latest addition to our range<br />
of oriental sauces is Sweet Soya Sauce and Salty<br />
Soya Sauce.<br />
RFI also produces “Life Kitchen” which is<br />
dedicated to help household to cook traditional<br />
dishes without spending hours on pounding and<br />
blending. Life Kitchen consists of spoon-able and<br />
ready to cook paste such as Ginger Marinated<br />
Paste, Tom Yam Paste, Curry Kapitan Paste,<br />
Sambal Tumis Paste, Assam Curry Paste and Fried<br />
Chilli Sauce.<br />
Life is a household name not only in Malaysia but<br />
also in Singapore, Vietnam, Middle East, Japan,<br />
United Kingdom, Cambodia, Vietnam, Brunei,<br />
Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Maldives, Solomon<br />
Island and Myanmar where Life is accepted and<br />
