A little love<br />
in the garden<br />
With the nice weather we’ve been having<br />
in Rotorua our gardens have erupted with<br />
a growth spurt filling our outdoor spaces<br />
with lush foliage and flowers. We get a lot of<br />
pleasure getting out in the sunshine tending<br />
to our Bali-inspired gardens, creating a space<br />
for our guests (and ourselves) that is beautiful,<br />
private and a tranquil place to sit and relax.<br />
Strawberries and cream<br />
Each year at <strong>Guysers</strong> Gaystay we plant<br />
strawberry plants in our raised vege box.<br />
We built a wooden frame and covered it with<br />
netting to keep the birds from eating our<br />
prized crop.<br />
When our strawberries are ripe we use them to<br />
decorate our fresh fruit salads which we prepare<br />
each morning for our guests. We make our fruit<br />
salads with seasonal fruits (never tinned) and<br />
guests can add yoghurt and cereal if they wish. q<br />
