away. You may never know in this life who
your natural mother is; but that does not
make any difference, she is still your mother.
She is not your mother because you know her,
she is your mother because she gave birth to
you. Likewise, as long as you are alive on this
earth, you may not know that Satan is your
lord, but you will surely know it when you
die, because to be absent from the body is to
be present with "the lord." The question is:
which lord is your lord?
"We are confident, I say, and willing
rather to be absent from the body and be
present with the Lord." This verse of scripture
is talking about death, in the sense that when
we die, our spirits with our souls leave our
bodies and go to be with the Lord or to be
with Satan.
