OFFICES – CAT A
CREATING COMMERCIAL
SPACES
We respect property and the value that Landlords place
on preserving their asset as well retaining the integrity of
their buildings.
Through years of experience we work sympathetically,
often in occupied properties, with Landlords and
owners to create new and attractive work spaces
for businesses as well as protecting the property
through planned dilapidation.
With many years of experience we deliver
quality and value and give a building a
new life.
6

OFFICES – CAT B
TRANSFORMING
SPACES
Office fit outs are where we started, and they’re
still at the heart of our business today.
You want people who stick to the budget, meet
the deadline, communicate, keep things safe
and compliant and offer a problem free journey
whilst transforming your space.
Working with surveyors and architects or
providing a design and build service we bring
office designs to life – helping to make the most
effective use of space and using our extensive
knowledge of materials to squeeze the best
value from the budget.
We believe in partnering with you and together
create your ideal working environment.
7

INDUSTRIAL
DELIVERING
EXCELLENCE
Time is money. So you want it done competitively, and
delivered to the agreed programme. But at the same
time you rightly expect a high level of quality, care,
attention and safety.
That’s what we do – often working to fast track
programmes to meet the demands of landlords
and incoming tenants, but still following all the
same management and quality processes as
any other project to deliver excellence.
We carry out full external and internal
refurbishment including full strip out,
ground work, structural work, roofing
and cladding works and specialist floor
finishes as well as the general fit out
and services installation works.
RESIDENTIAL
CREATING
DESIRABLE PLACES
You want a high quality job, on time and on budget.
But you also want people who understand the
importance of sensitivity, respect and discretion
in private residential work when creating a desirable
place to live.
That’s what we do - whether we’re working for landlords
or private clients, and whether it’s a refurbishment, or a
complete change of use with structural remodelling.
Our aim is always to work alongside the architect and
the rest of the professional team – playing our part
in listening and communicating to achieve the best
possible standards of finish.
11

HERITAGE
INSPIRING CRAFTSMANSHIP
You want to be sure that your building is in safe hands. You want people
who respect its heritage, and who have a passion for restoration as well as
inspiring craftsmanship with the specialist skills needed to do the job.
That’s what we do. Thoroughly familiar with grade I and II listed buildings
we are committed to painstaking research to understand their individual
histories. We have a successful record of restoring them to their original
beauty. We plan thoroughly, protect and communicate with the utmost care.
12
Our specialist technical expertise ranges from external façade and stone
restoration to hand painted leaded glazing, tensioned wall fabrics, gold
leaf gilt work, French polishing and mural restoration.

EXTERIORS
PARTNERS IN PLACE MAKING
Safety and security are paramount. You want people you
can trust to respect your tenants and keep any impact on
them and the public which the works could affect to an
absolute minimum.
That’s what we do. We look after all types of exterior
improvement works, including façade renovation and
restoration, re-roofing, window replacement, specialist
lead work, and entrance extensions and modifications.
And whatever the job, you can rely on us to do it safely,
securely and to a high standard.
QUALITY
At AOC London, achieving high standards and levels of quality, both on
product and service, is a priority and something that we have continued
to improve throughout our business development. We understand the
importance of quality and go that extra mile to offer a product that we
are proud of and is one of the main reasons why our clients continue
to come back to AOC London.
As part of our fully integrated management system AOC London
are accredited with BS EN ISO 9001:2015 which provides a
structured approach to quality control. Continual review
and improvement to ensure that we meet our clients
expectations on every project.
16

HEALTH AND SAFETY
We take Health and Safety very seriously at AOC London
with a zero tolerance on non- compliance. This is achieved
by us having a Health and Safety team that believes in
looking after everyone else and fully understands legal
obligations when working in this high risk environment.
It’s part of not just the management within the business
but the culture as well.
Safety training for all our staff and contractors and others
associated with our projects is mandatory.
Our Health & Safety advisor is responsible for enforcing
the company ethos, embedding a positive safety culture
and providing specialist advice, guidance and recorded
site inspections on a regular basis. Our advisor also
leads Health & Safety site inspections and the delivery
of operative training.
17

ENVIRONMENTAL
OUR CONTRIBUTION
The diverse nature of the projects we work on provides an exciting
challenge to AOC London where we constantly balance working on both
old and new development projects. Our fully integrated management
system’s accreditation to ISO4001 helps us give sound advice on the
use of products from sustainable sources, allowing best practice in
recycling, energy efficiency and waste management.
We recognise our environmental responsibility and try to reduce
the amount of ‘materials in’ and ‘waste away’ deliveries as
much as possible. We reuse and recycle as much as we can on
projects we directly undertake and at our head office.
We also recognise the impact that construction has on the
environment and take measures to minimise the natural
resources associated with the use of energy and materials
when fitting out. And we have experience in working on
BREEAM status projects.
We employ many people in our operations within
the UK – all of which both directly and indirectly
deliver positive economic contribution. We also
come together and contribute to the local
community by our fundraising activities and
support of local organisations.
18

SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY
AOC London have a wealth of experience and proven track
record for delivering within live occupied environments.
We understand the necessity for businesses to operate
under a ‘business as usual’ approach better than anyone
else. To minimise the impact on retail, residential or office
tenants, we achieve this through our building management
team liaison providing regular updates.
Through a cohabitation plan, key events such as meetings,
entertainment events and shut down periods can be
accommodated and minimise disruption to tenants.
Good communication and efficiency are key to delivering
the project on programme and on budget – maintaining
relationships in a live environment with all parties is key.
FREEMASONS
HALL
This fast track high quality refurbishment of the existing toilet
facilities within the 1st floor of the Freemasons headquarters
formed part of the preparations for London Fashion Week.
The work required extensive planning to ensure that the
programme was met and yet also work around the everyday
requirements of the hall with many scheduled events. Following
a shell and core strip-out the new toilets were constructed
requiring various structural alterations and careful consideration
and co-ordination of services.
All finishes were to a very high standard with quality stonework
within all areas particularly the vestibule area where the floor
was a highly polished feature with bespoke joinery and specialist
lighting. All toilets were fitted with bespoke features and quality
sanitary ware and despite the need for attention to detail this
project was delivered on time and on budget.
