Configurations Details
Informative details regarding settings for electric locks
The items are referenced by a code formed of numbers and letters with different lengths. Each series is identified by two digits, except the Universal Series, that doesn’t have specific numbers,
and some special series:
Examples
• 45 – Symmetric Series
• 41 – European Profile Series
• 50 – Reinforced Series
The electric lock operational process is tagged by a letter or a group of letters:
• N – Normal function: allows the opening while the door receives an electric impulse.
• A – Automatic function: the door remains open after a short tap. It only rearms when somebody enters and closes the door again.
• Aa – Automatic invisible function: the automatic bolt is suppressed. It allows an easier fitting with the mechanical lock.
• A very short electric tap is recommended.
• AT – Automatic timer function: links the opening time to the tapping time. After this time interval, the door is automatically blocked and the security level rises.
We can activate an option to add a manual unlocking lever:
• D – Manual unlocking: rising a lever we will only be able to open manually.
Afterwards, we can ask for the inclusion of adjustment bolts:
• F – adjustable latch: allows an exact fitting, with a 4 mm margin, between the electric lock latch and the lock slip (once installed).
You can also ask for additional features:
• 412 – direct current: used on video intercoms and security facilities. If not specified, the electric lock comes with alternating current.
• 512 – inverted operation: works just the opposite of a conventional electric lock. Receives current while the door is closed. When tapping, the current flow is interrupted and the door can be
opened. Used in emergency exits.
• 305 - conmutator: informs the access control if the door is open or closed by acoustic and light signals.

• 45 NDF 412 M.C. – 45 symmetric series; normal functions with manual unlocking and regulation bolts; DC; mechanism case.
• 41 AF M.C. – 41 European profile series; automatic functions with regulation bolts; mechanism case.
• 41 ND M.C. – 41 European profile series; normal functions with manual unlocking and without regulation bolts; mechanism bolts.
• 50 AaF 305 M.C. – 50 reinforced series; automatic invisible functions with regulation bolts; switching; mechanism box.
