smartSound
When we hear, the brain processes
acoustic input from both ears to
interpret what we hear and where the
sound is coming from. This binaural
hearing helps us localize the direction

understand speech significantly better
in challenging listening situations than

smartHome control center.
The smartHome solutions are designed to
extend your safety and independence at home.
They leverage the wireless connectivity of
Siemens wireless smartHearing instruments
and easyTek, to receive special signals from
wireless sensors and transmitters that alert you
of important situations, from doorbell chiming,
to phone ringing, to smoke detectors, room
monitors and other devices. This exclusive offer,
in partnership with Bellman & Symfon, comes
in two packages – smartAlert and smartCare.
easyTek
The smartHome begins with the smartHub, a
plug-in that connects Siemens smartHearing aids
to smartHome sensors, transmitters and monitors
via easyTek, so wearers can hear special signals
from phones, doors and other important alerts.
smartHub
The smartCare package includes the
smartHub, a room monitor, and a push-button
transmitter. When activated by the smartHub,
the room monitor sends a signal to the hearing
aids and can be adjusted for sensitivity and
delay. The push button transmitter, used by a
loved one, can alert the hearing aid wearer in
times of need and can be worn with a lanyard.

The smartAlert package includes, the smartHub, a
doorbell monitor, and a telephone monitor. When
activated via the smartHub, these monitors alert
the hearing aid wearer via sound signals. The
