to phone r<strong>in</strong>g<strong>in</strong>g, to smoke detectors, room<br />
monitors and other devices. This exclusive offer,<br />
<strong>in</strong> partnership with Bellman & Symfon, comes<br />
<strong>in</strong> two packages – smartAlert and smartCare.<br />
easyTek<br />
The smartHome beg<strong>in</strong>s with the smartHub, a<br />
plug-<strong>in</strong> that connects Siemens smart<strong>Hear<strong>in</strong>g</strong> aids<br />
to smartHome sensors, transmitters and monitors<br />
via easyTek, so wearers can hear special signals<br />
from phones, doors and other important alerts.<br />

The smartCare package <strong>in</strong>cludes the<br />
smartHub, a room monitor, and a push-button<br />
transmitter. When activated by the smartHub,<br />
the room monitor sends a signal to the hear<strong>in</strong>g<br />
aids and can be adjusted for sensitivity and<br />
delay. The push button transmitter, used by a<br />
loved one, can alert the hear<strong>in</strong>g aid wearer <strong>in</strong><br />
times of need and can be worn with a lanyard.<br />

The smartAlert package <strong>in</strong>cludes, the smartHub, a<br />
doorbell monitor, and a telephone monitor. When<br />
activated via the smartHub, these monitors alert<br />
the hear<strong>in</strong>g aid wearer via sound signals. The<br />
doorbell monitor can be programmed to recognize<br />
virtually any doorbell sound; the telephone monitor<br />
can be used to detect a landl<strong>in</strong>e and mobile phone.<br />

Optional accessories <strong>in</strong>clude a smoke alarm and an alarm clock.<br />
The smoke alarm works with the smartHub to transmit light,<br />
sound or vibration to <strong>in</strong>dicate an emergency; the alarm clock<br />

alarm, high-<strong>in</strong>tensity flash<strong>in</strong>g lights or a bed shaker.<br />
