HOTEL TERMES MONTBRIÓ
THE LOCATION
Montbrió del Camp history starts in 1170 with the construction of
the ancient defense castle which remains can still be visited today.
With a current population of 1,500 people, Montbrió belongs to the
Camp de Tarragona natural and historic region of Catalonia, and has
proudly kept a farming tradition and heritage since mediaeval times.
Outstanding local products worth trying are their arbequina olive
virgin extra oil, classified under Siurana D.O., and the local muscatel
sweet wine.

THE GARDENS
The location of Termes de
Montbrio Hotel sits on an
ancient agricultural estate
formerly known as Horta
Florida founded by the
inhabitants of Montbrió del
Camp in 1643.
The botanical garden is about
4 hectares. By the end of
the XIX Century the artificial
lake, the exuberant sequoia
trees and some of the layout
buildings where already
in place. Other interesting
features include giant cacti,
ancient hundred year old trees
and countless springs.
THE THERMAL
BATH SPA
Discovered in the 1980s, the
springs of geothermally heated
waters that feed the Termes de
Montbrió spa are located 3 km
away from the hotel location.
Their waters, emerging
naturally at temperatures
between 41 and 81 degrees
Celsius are listed as hyperthermal,
rich in ions and
minerals, and are reputed for
their healing properties and
therapeutic benefits. Termes
de Montbrió Spa has been
awarded “Best Resort & Spa
in Europe”.
