KENYA HORIZON<br />

Day 1: Nairobi / Amboseli (Approx 4hrs drive)<br />

Drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its big game and scenic beauty with the<br />

landscape dominated by the Mt. Kilimanjaro. I You will arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon<br />

game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sentrim Camp or similar<br />

Day 2: Amboseli<br />

Spend a further day in the park on morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Wildlife<br />

here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard,<br />

cheetah, buffalo, wild dog and over 400 species of birds.<br />

Day 3: Amboseli / Aberdares (Approx 7.5 hrs drive)<br />

After breakfast drive via Nairobi to Aberdare National Park which contains the second largest population of the Black Rhino,<br />

unique to Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch. Animals easily observed include the lion, leopard, baboon, black and white Colobus,<br />

and Sykes monkey. Dinner and overnight at Ark Lodge or similar<br />

Day 4: Aberdares / Lake Nakuru (Approx 4 hrs drive)<br />

Drive to Lake Elementaita andafter lunch drive onwards to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game viewing drive.<br />

Transfer back for dinner and overnight at Sentrim Elementaita Camp or similar<br />

Day 5: Lake Nakuru / Maasai Mara (Approx 6 hrs drive)<br />

After breakfast drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, so named to mean the “spotted plains” in the Maa language. This is<br />

home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is<br />

the northern extension to the vast Serengeti­Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest. Dinner and<br />

overnight at Nyumbu Camp or similar<br />

Day 6: Maasai Mara<br />

Spend a further day of game watching with morning and afternoon game drives. Wildlife is abundant in the Reserve with the<br />

gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have<br />

been recorded among them 57 birds of prey.<br />

Day 7: Maasai Mara / Nairobi / Depart<br />

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi. Later you are transferred to JKIA<br />

GET TO KNOW MAASAI CULTURE<br />

Village is a real Eco Camp, because it was built by village women according to traditions respecting the environment and cultur .<br />

in order to give the tourist an unforgettable experience and for the local people to go on living without forgetting their origins.<br />

Day 1: Nairobi / Amboseli<br />

Drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its scenic beauty with the landscape dominated by the Mt. Kilimanjaro. Make<br />

exciting walking tours in the bush under the guidance of a Maasai warrior to better understand the eco­system, the animals and<br />

the vegetation, how the Maasai learned to use plants and barks to heal backaches, stomach aches or colds with absolutely<br />

natural systems. You will learn their rites, therefore to know something more about the Maasai spirit.<br />

Day 2: Amboseli<br />

Spend a further day At Muteleu Maasai village it will be possible to share the Maasais’ daily activities such as taking care of the<br />

cattle, getting water, collecting wood, making crafts items, dance and sing (quite common at night around the fire, accompanied<br />

by past stories. If you wish the Maasai will slaughter a goat with you and prepare for your dinner in the traditional way.<br />

Day 3: Amboseli / Nairobi<br />

Today you can join morning activities before you drive back to Nairobi.<br />

VOLCANO TOUR<br />

Day 01 / 02: Nairobi /Amboseli<br />

Drive to Amboseli National Park ­ famous for its big game and scenic beauty with<br />

a landscape dominated by Mt.Kilimanjaro. It <strong>offers</strong> an interesting contrast with its<br />

dry and dusty appearance, which can be attributed to the volcanic ash that came<br />

out of Mt Kilimanjaro when it last erupted. Meals and overnight at AA Lodge.<br />

Day 03: Amboseli ­ Shu´mata<br />

Depart after early morning breakfast for drive to the Kenya/ Tanzania border at<br />

Namanga. Continue your safari towards Shu’mata and the Arusha National park.<br />

Enjoy some game viewing enroute to your lodge. Overnight Hatari Lodge<br />

Day 04:–Arusha<br />

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge before embarking on a full day game<br />

viewing drives within the park, there is a great opportunity to enjoy the great<br />

scenery around Mount Meru as well as the various wildlife found in the area.<br />

Day 05/06: Lake Eyasi – Ngorongoro Crater<br />

Depart in the morning to Ngorongoro for the crater tour, a full day game drive,<br />

late afternoon drive to the lodge. The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep,<br />

volcanic crater, the largest un flooded and unbroken caldera in the world. We will<br />

visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the south western corner,<br />

Day 4: Murchison Falls Nationalpark – Fort Portal<br />

Day 5: Kibale Forest<br />

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth Nationalpark<br />

You drive through the open savannah of Acacia, be on the lookout for a pride of<br />

Kazinga Channel, which flows between Lakes George and Edward.<br />

Day 7 Semuliki<br />
