06 PRODUCT
We at Sundown Photo offer our clients a full range of photography
services. I started the business over 3 years ago and have been moving
forward with the addition of a studio and more equipment. My 35 years
of experience working in prepress with images color correction and retouching
give me a distinct advantage when working with YOUR images. I know what is
needed and how to shoot it to make your product, landscape, food or head shot
look the absolute best it can. Whether your images are going to be used in a web
enviromnent, a publication, or in a large format capacity, I can provide you with
whatever format and size final images necessary to supply your printer or end
user with exactly what they need. I recently branched out into fashion and portrait.
Portraits and headshots are a great way to update you social media profile. I try to
envoke the subjects emotion and really capture what is the essence of who they are.
FOOD
Taste Never Lies
The art of cooking requires just as much talent and skill
as the art of photography. When the two are brought
together it can be an almost magical experience. If
your food images look bland and lifeless your clients will no
be interested in tasting much less purchasing your products.
I try to capture the essence of the food with as much care
and passion as the individual who prepared the meal. I also
try and use natural light as much as possible to really bring
out the beauty of the food and if not possible I will light the
food as if it were in a natural light setting.
PRODUCT
Eye for Detail
Every client wants their product to look as good as possible, wether it be for
a website, printed brochure or large format signage. We try very hard to
bring out every detail and work closely with our clients to ensure they are
satisfied with every aspect of the final images we provide them with. We have a
variety of equipment, reflectors, lights and filters to make sure you are completely
satisfied with the way your product is represented. We will even go as far as to
allow the client to be present while we shoot to ensure they are satisfied with
the capture. We shoot tethered to a computer to make sure all our shots are on
target from the get go to avoid reshooting. If it is a product that is not possible to
bring to us we will come to you with our equipment and shoot it on location.
PORTRAIT
Simple Beauty
Finding the simple beauty in people is also an art. We feel it is important to bring out the personality
of the individual being photographed. An image can be properly exposed, retouched fantastically
and mounted in an expensive frame, but if there is no emotion in the image it looses something in
the translation. We do our best to bring out the personality of the people we are photographing giving
them back a memory and an experience that will last a long time.
CORPORATE
Clean and Consistent
Your corporate presence is important. It needs to be clean, the lighting
and background needs to be consistent and everyone has to look similar
in size. This is important even if it is not in a studio. These images were
shot at a downtown hotel location during a conference. The studio was brought
to the location and during the 2 day conference more than 350 headshots were
captured for the attendees. The company then used them as needed for their
website and publications .
ARCHITECTURE
Pursue Your Vision
Many companies and establishments have very elaborate and beautifully constructed buildings. Capturing those
buildings for their use in brochures, large format signage or web use is also a special service. The client usually
has a vision of how they want the building or place that they call headquarters appear to their clients. A lot factors
in to shooting a building. The right lighting, the right time of day, the weather, the correct equipment all come into play and
work together to produce high quality representations of where your business “lives”.
Needs
Every shoot is going to demand
are special needs or circumstances
we do not hesitate to visit our local
gear rental store and acquire whatever
specialized equipment would be
necessary to give you exactly what
you need for whatever purpose you
are using the images for.
