<strong>Apollon</strong>, the artisanal yacht<br />

<strong>Apollon</strong> was built as an “artisanal yacht” because it<br />

was entirely handmade by our team of skilled artisans<br />

using fine African wood. <strong>Apollon</strong>, launched in 2014,<br />

is a ketch with four sails fully operable, as well as<br />

two main engines and a hydraulic bowthruster.


The Cabins<br />

The <strong>Apollon</strong> has 7 cabins. Four cabins are 16 sq.m with double bed<br />

and upper berth. The master cabin is 25 sq. m with double bed<br />

and two upper berths. Two cabins with two twin beds are 8 sq. m<br />

and 16 sq. m. All cabins have private en suite WC, shower with<br />

hot water, electric toilet, sink and towels. Linens are changed every<br />

other day. All cabins are fully air conditioned.


The Salon<br />

The salon is 30 square meters with entry from the rear deck, cabin areas<br />

or the galley. The salon has two tables with booth seating. The salon<br />

comfortably seats fourteen persons.<br />

The salon is equipped with television with satellite reception, DVD<br />

player with stereo music throughout the ship and a liquor cabinet.


The Galley<br />

The yacht’s chef is an expert in<br />

Mediterranean and Greek cuisine and<br />

is available on all <strong>Apollon</strong> cruises.<br />

In lieu of a chef, passengers have the<br />

option to prepare their own meals in<br />

the galley.<br />

The <strong>Apollon</strong>’s galley measures 18<br />

sq. m and has a full service kitchen.<br />

Appliances include five refrigerators<br />

and freezers, oven with grill, microwave<br />

oven, industrial style stove with four<br />

burners, bar-b-que for outdoor deck,<br />

coffee and espresso machines, sink,<br />

dishes, glasses, cutlery and cookware.

As owners of the <strong>Apollon</strong> we are also specialty travel tour operators in Greece with over 20<br />

years experience. This enables us to organize and provide exciting activities for clients during<br />

each cruise. Our expertise in providing provide active and leisure land and sea excursions during<br />

a cruise makes clients regard travel on the <strong>Apollon</strong> as an extraordinary memorable experience.


Guests have the choice of active or leisure<br />

activities: biking, hiking, snorkeling,<br />

kayaking, wine tasting, deep sea fishing,<br />

archaeology sightseeing, culinary classes,<br />

Greek music, yoga, scuba diving and visiting<br />

artists’ workshops <strong>Apollon</strong> keeps “toys” on<br />

board the yacht including our fleet of bikes,<br />

sea kayaks, fishing gear and snorkeling gear.


The Bridge<br />

The <strong>Apollon</strong> bridge is equipped with the<br />

latest electronics in communications,<br />

radar, depth finder, ecosounder, chart<br />

plotter, weather station, automatic pilot<br />

and VHF-SBS-GPS–NAVTEX-GSMS.


The Crew<br />

The <strong>Apollon</strong> is fully crewed with an experienced<br />

captain, engineer and two mates. Our team has<br />

over thirty years of seafaring, sailing and building<br />

sail boats, specifically wooden yachts. The <strong>Apollon</strong><br />

crew are licensed and certified by all international<br />

sea faring regulatory agencies, including the United<br />

States Coast Guard and European Economic Union<br />

sea regulatory standards.Crew members are certified<br />

in first aid and CPR procedures. For cruise activities, a<br />

tour leader joins the crew.
