The FREDDY 400 plus lithotripsy laser is the new<br />

therapy. Us<strong>in</strong>g specialised, state of the art<br />

technology, this device guarantees<br />

tissue-protective treatment of even the hardest bladder, kidney or bile duct s<strong>to</strong>nes, <strong>in</strong> a faster <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>Highly</strong> flexible fibre probes allow <strong>in</strong>tracorporeal<br />

avoids the coagulation or perforation of<br />

Dual Pulse of the device (see diagram) consists of a major <strong>in</strong>frared pulse with<br />

wavelength of 1.064 nm,<br />

along with a 532 nm green energy pulse which is<br />

Dur<strong>in</strong>g treatment, a high energy plasma beam is<br />

created between the fibre tip <strong>and</strong> the s<strong>to</strong>ne, which is<br />

converted <strong>in</strong><strong>to</strong> a mechanical shockwave dur<strong>in</strong>g<br />

contact with solid s<strong>to</strong>ne material. This effect is<br />

athermal <strong>and</strong> therefore guarantees the protection of<br />
