wonder which side the Huracán Spyder

Lamborghini is too powerful and tense
for Travolta’s Vince Vega. After all, the

cruise in a Chevy Malibu.
The late Health Ledger was brilliant as the
psychopathic Joker in “The Dark Knight”.
The powerful Huracán would surely have
done that charismatic villain proud as a
getaway car. But the destructive energy of

helmet on my head also limits my field of
view. So I have no choice but to trust my
feelings. And that’s exactly what it’s all
about today: feeling what happens, using
your own body as a sensor in curves, when
braking and accelerating. Of course, I’ve
prepared my body for high performance:

gear and at top speed, I rocket through

The pushing and pulling, pressing and
shaking of the seat, wheel, and belts give
me a high-resolution snapshot of my
driving situation at all times. Thousands
of sensory signals registered by the body
hit the brain in milliseconds, help achieve
perfect handling and precision-targeted
steering maneuvers. Every ridge, every
curb, every difference in grip speaks to
me. This kind of precision could never be
achieved with the eyes alone.
The many jumps give the Nordschleife
a series of weightless stretches. But my
contact with the seat still never quite disappears
and I meld with my Lamborghini,
becoming part of the machine. Or is that
exactly the opposite?
At over 3 G, the centrifugal force rips
vertically at my head as I spin through the
Karousel. Agile and full of highly differentiated
responses, the Lamborghini takes
the more than 180-degree curve with
ease. My hands are in optimum dialog
with the grip of the front axle, intuitive
movements, optimum lines. Metzgesfeld,
Bergwerk, Hohe Acht: my inner map associates
each one with specific emotions.
At the end of my Tour d’Emotion in the
Lamborghini Driving Experience, I tear
over the Döttinger Höhe at over 300 km/h.
And I suddenly see how decisive the communication
capability of the automobile
and racing clothing truly are. Feeling won!
Down towards the Pflanzgarten: fast, precision alternation along the ideal line from the left into
the right curve. Good drivers take advantage of the lateral steering forces to perceive exactly
where the clean, firm track ends and the slippery, dirty asphalt zone starts.

In 2016, Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe has reached
its eighth edition. On the heels of a growing success that peaked
in 2015 with a record number of starters, the one-make racing
championship reserved for cars from Sant’Agata Bolognese saw
the debut last year of the new Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2
Super Trofeo with rear wheel-drive only. In this season, started
with a record breaking grid of 47 cars in Monza, these unique
vehicles will monopolize the championship’s entry list in Europe
and in the other two continental series to be run in Asia and
North America. A marque that is famous and esteemed all over
the world, and a car that’s conceptually very similar to GT3 cars,

Following three successful seasons in Europe from 2009, in 2012
the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Championship headed to Asia
and since then the series is growing fast. With races on famous
international circuits like Shanghai, Fuji and Sepang, and teams
from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Japan, the Asian series
provides an exclusive platform for Gentlemen drivers, entering
individually or in teams of two.
After its expansion into the Asian market, Lamborghini brought
the one-make series to the North America in 2013, where the
races are held alongside the prestigious IMSA WeatherTech
SportsCar Championship. Twenty-plus cars grids on popular
circuits like the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in California or the
Circuit of The Americas in Texas ensure exciting action. In 2015,

The converter port is located in the upper middle of the
back. Air flowing along the back is used to manipulate
wind resistance. Fine little vortices at the break-away
edge are captured by the 3D Bionic Sphere ® System in

body heat guides moisture resulting from perspiration out
of the jacket. The air streaming over the jacket takes the
moisture up and along to the final flow separation point.
