We’re looking forward to
meeting you on Feb. 18
To attend the Canadian
Firearms Safety Course that
you enrolled in, we now
require your completed
Registration Form.
Now that you’re enrolled in the Feb 18
program we are looking forward to
providing assistance in your efforts to
obtain a Firearms and/or Hunting
licence.
This is one of the few Canadian
Firearms Safety Courses completed in
a single day, because we complete
most of the student paperwork in
advance of the program, saving time
and student frustration, while ensuring
accuracy of these important
government documents.
Therefore we must get your personal
information via the registration form in
a timely manner.
The deadline to submit your
registration is Wed. Feb. 8
Please arrive on time!
Our tight schedule calls for starting the class at 8:00
am., sharp. There is some paperwork to get completed
first; so make every effort to arrive 30-45 minutes early.

Acceptable forms of I.D. include your drivers
licence, health card, birth certificate , Passport or
S.I.N. card. Current PERMANENT ADDRESS
must be used!
MINORS (Under 18) must present valid Photo I.D.
other than an Ontario Health Card, or parent must
be present to provide alternate verification.
We cannot process your important paperwork
without the appropriate identification!

Registration
You must complete the
Registration Form to secure
your seat in the class!
1. Your completed form also acts as confirmation of your
attendance!
2. Your completed registration form allow us to complete
important government documents on your behalf.
3. Completed Registration form must be received by
prescribed deadline!
4. If we do not receive your registration by the deadline, your
name may be removed from our roster.

Canadian Firearms
Safety Course February 18
Arrival Time: 7:00 AM

Written examination followed by practical
(hands on) testing, one-on-one with examiners.
Departure: 8:30 PM
All students completed and on their way home. Please
adjust your personal schedules accordingly.
This is an entry level program
dealing with all aspects of firearms
safety, firearms actions,
ammunition, carries, etc.
You will learn many of the legal
aspects of firearms licensing,
transport, storage and display. and
be guided through actual handling
of non-restricted firearms, how to
prove them safe, load and unload
the five major action types.
All successful students will be
provided with a comprehensive
package containing everything you
need to apply for your Firearms
Licence.
However, you must wait
approximately 4 weeks to receive a
copy of your Canadian Firearms
Safety Course Report from the
Chief Provincial Firearms Office
before you can submit your
Application for a Firearms Licence
to the Canadian Firearms Centre.

Please arrive on time. Our tight schedule
requires us to start promptly!
You are welcome to pack your own lunch. A
refrigerator is available for your use. Our rural
location does not offer the luxury of restaurants in
close proximity.
As the program runs well into the evening, you are
also encouraged to bring additional snacks for late
in the day.
A word about your Tuition Fees:
Course Tuition fees are due at time of arrival.
We are unable to accept debit or credit cards as a payment method.
We have become disenchanted with cheques. Therefore, cash is the
only acceptable method of payment. No exceptions! All Tuition fees
must be paid in full upon arrival.

Firearms Licence Application
Although you do not need an application the day of the course,
you may download and complete a copy of the application for
a firearms licence HERE, bring it to the class, and we will
review it with you for correctness.
Minors (under age 18) must contact the CFO of Ontario (1-800-731-4000, Ext. 7538) to
request an application for a Minors Firearms Licence.

Hunter Education Course Itinerary
Hunter Education
February 25
For those enrolled in the One-Stop
program, day two is the Ontario Hunter
Education Program.
A more advanced course, this session
deals with Wildlife management,
responsible hunting, wildlife laws, wildlife
identification, field dressing, survival
techniques, bow hunting, etc.
Class hours are from 7:00 AM until 7:45
PM., including the testing session,
immediately upon conclusion of the
program.
The “Multiple Choice” tests will be scored
upon completion, and you will know your
marks right away!
Successful students will be provided with
paperwork which will allow them to get their
Ontario Hunting Licence (or Hunting
Apprenticeship Card) the next business day!
Notice: Students who did not previously complete their CFSC with us, and are attending
“Hunter Ed Only” must provide proof that they have completed the Canadian
Firearms Safety Course.

Student Tuition
Course tuition fees are payable in full upon
arrival to the class..
If it’s a two day (One Stop) program, the full twoday
fee is payable upon arrival.
No Exceptions!
Cash is the only acceptable method of payment.
Course descriptions and appropriate fees are
outlined below to assist you in bringing the
correct tuition with you.
Canadian Firearms Safety Course:
Student Manuals listed below are extra.
Each student must have a manual in
the classroom. Exceptions may be made
for two or more students in the same
household.
NOTICE: Beginning with our July 9th
course, all students must purchase the
new CFSC manual. All older versions are
obsolete.
Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course:
Complete 8 hour training program and examination to
meet the legal requirements to apply for a Firearms
Licence; own, possess and purchase firearms and
ammunition.
Complete training program and examination to add
Restricted Firearms to their current Firearms Licence.
Students must already have completed the non-restricted
Canadian Firearms Safety Course and
test., provide written documentation.

Ontario Hunter Education Course:
Complete 10 hour training program and
examination to meet the mandatory requirements
to obtain a Hunting & Fishing Ontario Outdoors
Card. Students must have proof they have completed the
Canadian Firearms Safety Course.

A two day program combining both Firearms
Safety and Hunter Education, in “One Stop”.
Graduates can obtain both their Firearms and
Hunting Licences.
