President’s Message
I am very pleased to
present to you our
annual East Kawartha
Chamber of Commerce
Business Directory. On
behalf of the Board
of Directors, staff and
volunteers, we thank
you for your support of
this valuable publication and of the many
functions of your Chamber of Commerce.
This past year has been very productive in
many aspects for the Chamber. We are excited
to have recently launched our new and
updated website. The new structure allows
for greater marketing for our members and
greater ease of use for those visiting the site.
We have also recently undergone an exciting
change in our licensing office. The new
ServiceOntario format has allowed us to offer
Health Card services not previously available.
The staff and volunteers will continue to
work hard on your behalf in the coming year
on various projects including restructuring
of committees and finalizing aspects of
our marketing strategy. We will also be
continuing to monitor and contribute to
public policy issues and bettering our
Membership benefits and services.
We wish to thank the many volunteers,
sponsors and advertisers that make the
Chamber function on a daily basis and
contribute to the well-being of the many
communities and businesses we serve.
Through everyone’s dedication, we can
continue to improve this beautiful area
in which we live, work and play.
