CONCLUDING SECTION<br />
There are a few ahadith over and above the forty<br />
already narrated, which certainly need to be men-<br />
tioned, being appropriate for this place.<br />
In this section, some special virtues <strong>of</strong> certain surahs<br />
are narrated. These surahs are short, but excel in virtues<br />
and rewards. In addition, there are one or two important<br />
matters, about which the readers <strong>of</strong> the Qur'an need to be<br />
warned.<br />
HADITH - 1<br />
Hadhrat 'Abdul Malik bin Umair (Radhiyallaho anho)<br />
reports that Rasulullah (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam)<br />
said, "In surah Fatihah there is a cure for all ailments."<br />
The virtues <strong>of</strong> surah Fatihah are found in many ahadith.<br />
It is reported in one hadith, "a Sahabi was <strong>of</strong>fering<br />
nafl salaat; Rasulullah (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) called<br />
him, but since he was <strong>of</strong>fering salaat he did not respond.<br />
After <strong>com</strong>pleting +e salaat he went to Rasulullah (Sallal-<br />
!ah0 alaihe wasallgm), who asked him why he did not respond<br />
as soon as he\ was called. He submitted that he could<br />
not do so because he was <strong>of</strong>fering salaat. Rasulullah (Sallallaho<br />
alaih wasallam) asked if he dit not read the following<br />
verse in Qu 'an:<br />
ei.<br />
Respond to the call <strong>of</strong> Allah and His Messenger when-<br />
ever They call you.<br />
Then Rasulullah (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) said, "I tell<br />
you <strong>of</strong> a surah which is the greatest, the most virtuous in<br />
