Welcome to the thirteenth annual Dream Ball.
The Foundation thanks those who attend the Ball every year. We appreciate your
loyalty and your continued support of the children of abuse who are involved with the
Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society. For those of you who are attending for
the first time, we welcome you and we thank you for being part of this very special
evening. Because of all your support, the Foundation will be able to send hundreds
of children to camp next summer. What a wonderful gift you are giving them ...
the gifts of laughter, fun, and meeting new friends, but most of all for giving
them a sense of belonging ... and for that we extend our heartfelt appreciation.

Silent Auction Rules
• Each item in the Silent Auction has a bid sheet. Persons desiring to bid may do so
by printing their name and the amount on the bid sheet.
• Under no circumstances may a bid sheet be removed.
• Only an auction official may nullify a bid.
• The Silent Auction will be open for bidding at 6:30pm and closing times will be announced during dinner.
• The closing bid circled by the auction official constitutes the winning bid.
In the event of a dispute, the auction official will conduct an oral auction between the disputing bidders.
