For flees…add a few drops to your dogs bath water or shampoo.

.NATURAL HOME CARE
Not only does eucalyptus give a nice, fresh fragrance to your home products, but it adds vital anti-microbial
properties as well. You can’t go wrong putting several drops into pretty much everything: soap, laundry
detergent, mop water, toilet cleaner, window cleaner … the list goes on!
11. ODOR REMOVAL
Whether you’re battling smelly shoes or a stinky dog bed, topically wash items to remove odours with a wet
rag soaked in eucalyptus oil-infused water, and place outside to dry in the sun. This can prevent odours as
well as keep the shape intact! You may also mix it with lemon oil or tea tree oil for an anti-stink spray.
12. AIR CLEANSER
Try putting a few drops into your vacuum and clothes dryer filters to freshen them up and sanitize them a
little. Also, it’s great for killing mould in your home, and you can mix eucalyptus with other oils like clove
and tea tree oil to cleanse the air and maintain a mould-free home.
13 . SPOT REMOVER
Like lemon essential oil, eucalyptus oil is highly effective at removing spots on your carpet, clothes and
basically every fabric you have in the house. It even works to get gum off your shoes! Make sure to “test” it
on an inconspicuous place first just to make sure the oil doesn’t react strangely with the material you treat.
You just don’t know what’s in the synthetic materials nowadays!
14. RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS
Eucalyptus essential oil is highly effective for treating respiratory problems, such as asthma, bronchitis,
COPD, pneumonia and even tuberculosis. Using eucalyptus for asthma is a proven treatment that dilates the
blood vessels and allows more oxygen into the lungs. Simply mix eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil and coconut
oil for a Homemade Vapor Rub, and put on upper chest.
15. WOUND TREATMENT
Eucalyptus oil has antimicrobial and antiseptic properties that are effective at treating wounds, burns, cuts,
abrasions, sores and scrapes. It also can be made into a salve or healing ointment and put on bug bites and
stings. Along with acting as a natural pain reliever to the area, it also keeps the area from getting infected,
which speeds healing.
The list goes on, but don’t forget to use eucalyptus on your pets! It’s proven to be safe in pretty much any
way that you would use it on yourself. Just be sure to keep it out of eyes and any open wounds!

EUCALYPTUS OIL BENEFITS
Eucalyptus oil benefits are due to its ability to stimulate immunity,
provide antioxidant protection and improve respiratory circulation.
Originally referred to as “eucalyptol” by the scientific community,
the health benefits of eucalyptus oil come from a chemical now
known as cineole — an organic compound shown to hold
astounding, widespread medicinal effects, including everything from
reducing inflammation and pain to killing leukemia cells!
At the time I wrote this article, over 1,200 scientific research studies
were conducted referring to cineole, and the results are simply
amazing.
Although eucalyptus has the highest known cineole levels of any
plant (up to 80–95 present), scientists have discovered that several
other plants have significant levels of cineole as well:

Here’s what medicines you can replace with lemon essential oil.

Provides a sense of Tranquility.
Lavender (lavandula angustifolia) is the most versatile of all essential oils. Most commonly known for its
relaxing effects on the body, therapeutic-grade lavender has been highly regarded for the skin. It may be
used to cleanse cuts, bruises and skin irritations. The fragrance is calming, relaxing and balancing –
physically and emotionally. Carrying a bottle of lavender a round with you is like having your own personal
first aid kit, perfume and pick-me-up.
1. CALMING
Rub 2-3 drops of lavender oil in your cupped palms, then use the inhalation
method to draw the scent all the way into your amygdala gland (the emotional
warehouse) in your brain to calm the mind. Then, rub on the feet, temples,
wrists (or anywhere) for an immediate calming effect on the body. Great for use
in crowded areas like planes or subways to carve out your own personal oasis.
2. SLEEP AID
Again, use the cupping and inhalation method. Then, rub a drop of Lavender oil
on your palms and smooth on your pillow to help you sleep.
3. BEE STING / INSECT BITE
Put a drop of Lavender oil on a bee sting or insect bite to stop itching reduce
swelling.
4. MINOR BURN
Put 2-3 drops Lavender oil on a minor burn to decrease pain. I recently did this
after I spilled scorching hot tea on my hand at Starbucks and luckily had my
lavender with me. Result: NO redness, swelling or pain. NO sign of any burn.

5. CUTS
Drop Lavender oil on cut to stop bleeding, clean wound, and kill bacteria.
6. ECZEMA / DERMATITIS
Mix several drops of Lavender oil with a nut or vegetable mixing oil (coconut, sesame, etc) and use
topically on eczema and dermatitis. I have a dear friend who suffers from severe eczema and swears by
this.
7. NAUSEA OR MOTION SICKNESS
To alleviate the symptoms of motion sickness, place a drop of Lavender oil on end of tongue, behind the
ears or around the navel.
8. NOSEBLEED
To stop a nosebleed, put a drop of lavender oil on a tissue and wrap it around a small chip
of ice. Push the tissue covered ice chip up under the middle
of the top lip to the base of the nose and hold as long as
comfortable or until the bleeding stops (do not freeze
the lip or gum).
9. DRY OR CHAPPED SKIN
Rub lavender oil on dry or chapped skin.
10. CHAPPED OR SUNBURNED LIPS
Rub a drop of lavender oil on chapped or sunburned lips.
11. HAY FEVER.
Rub a drop of lavender oil between your palms and
inhale deeply to help alleviate the symptoms of hay fever.
12. DANDRUFF.
Rub several drops of lavender oil into

Neosporin. You’ll be surprised at how well it works. Also, got a splinter?

8. COOLS THE BODY DURING HOT FLASHES:
Peppermint Oil is very cooling and can feel wonderful when applied to the back of the neck
when you are feeling too hot.
9. STOPS ITCHING:
Apply Peppermint Oil to stop itching caused by bug bites, hives, poison ivy or poison oak.
Only use this way if skin is intact and not broken. I like to combine it with Lavender Oil as
well.
10. ELIMINATES PAINT FUMES:
Add a 30-40 drops to a gallon of paint to help dispel the fumes inside.
11. FRESHENS THE AIR:
Simply diffuse to freshen the air.
12. HOUSEHOLD CLEANER:
Combine vinegar, water, and Peppermint Essential oil for an effective all-purpose cleaner.
13. CAFFEINE REPLACEMENT:
I use Peppermint Oil instead of caffeine to perk myself up in the morning, either in the
diffuser or diluted
on the back of my neck. It really perks me up Without making me feel crazy from the caffeine.
14. ADD TO HOMEMADE TOOTHPASTE FOR MINTY FLAVOR:
MAKE YOUR own toothpaste for a long time now. I use 2/3 cup bentonite clay, 1/2 cup boiling water, 2 TBS coconut oil,
1/2 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp CalMag Powder, 20 drops of trace minerals, and 10 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil.

– Warm a cup of water. Add one drop of therapeutic grade peppermint oil.
