My friend and hiking partner Jim Carey suggested that perhaps our orbit was simply too small.<br />
Together, we set out on a giant arc around the Tower making the biggest circle we possibly could…<br />
even if it took us all day.<br />
Several hours and many miles into our journey it became apparent that Mother<br />
Nature had been watching us and decided to reward our perseverance.<br />
Here was a perfectly placed daisy aligned with a lovely view of the tower and a glorious cloudburst<br />
behind; here was the shot no one had seen before. It was if Mother Nature was saying “thank you”<br />
for our efforts.<br />
