Who are Walker Home Improvements?<br />
We are a specialist building company doing what we know best. Home Improvements.<br />
When did the company start business?<br />
We started back in 1981, at Wallsend. With only myself and my wife. We purchased at Barnsley in 1983 and built the<br />
factory and offices ourselves and commenced trading from Barnsley in 1984.<br />
Does the company have a license?<br />
Yes, we have to have a Full Builders License (No. 27046C) which allows the company to do all building work, large<br />
or small!<br />
What work will the company do?<br />
Although we hold a full license, we do not build houses. We specialise on what we do best, Patio Covers and Carports.<br />
Maintenance Free Screen and Glass Enclosures and Labour Saving Modular Room Systems. Incorporated in these new<br />
products are concreting, brickwork, window replacements, wall cladding (Vinyl, Aluminum, Hardie Plank, etc.), guttering<br />
and insulated suspended ceilings, all of which are services we can supply to your existing screen or glass enclosure; by<br />
specialising we are able to give you quality products at a competitive price!<br />
What do we offer in the way of services?<br />
Our service is comprehensive, helping you with the job design, then onto drawings with engineers specifications for<br />
submission to your local council and other relevant authorities.<br />
