OneNote<br />

For our e-Portfolios we will be<br />

using OneNote. These e-<br />

Portfolios will be available online<br />

through Office 365 and the<br />

students will be able to work on<br />

them at home as well as at<br />

school.<br />

Each e-Portfolio will have three<br />

categories -<br />

Working – a section showing the<br />

progress of a project, etc.<br />

Learning – a section<br />

demonstrating the<br />

child's understanding over time.<br />

Showcase – a section<br />

that showcasing content (e.g. art<br />

work published stories).<br />

Once they are up and running<br />

fully, ask your child to share<br />

their e-Portfolio with you<br />

Through-out this year we will use<br />

the school radio station<br />

(MaranuiFM) as part of our class<br />

work.<br />

Announcing, Interviewing,<br />

Advertising and Publicity will be<br />

incorporated into our studies.<br />

For example in our study of<br />

"Experiencing Marine Reserves"<br />

some children will be organising<br />

radio interviews with local<br />

scientists, others will be<br />

designing radio advertisements<br />

about the Marine Reserve, while<br />

others will be working on ways to<br />

publicise the interviews etc.<br />

At other times we will use the<br />

station as a means of sharing our<br />

work (written stories, etc)<br />
