OneNote
For our e-Portfolios we will be
using OneNote. These e-
Portfolios will be available online
through Office 365 and the
students will be able to work on
them at home as well as at
school.
Each e-Portfolio will have three
categories -
Working – a section showing the
progress of a project, etc.
Learning – a section
demonstrating the
child's understanding over time.
Showcase – a section
that showcasing content (e.g. art
work published stories).
Once they are up and running
fully, ask your child to share
their e-Portfolio with you

Through-out this year we will use
the school radio station
(MaranuiFM) as part of our class
work.
Announcing, Interviewing,
Advertising and Publicity will be
incorporated into our studies.
For example in our study of
"Experiencing Marine Reserves"
some children will be organising
radio interviews with local
scientists, others will be
designing radio advertisements
about the Marine Reserve, while
others will be working on ways to
publicise the interviews etc.
At other times we will use the
station as a means of sharing our
work (written stories, etc)
