General Notes<br />
> CONDENSING UNITS/LESS<br />
CONDENSING UNIT MODELS<br />
a) Prices for integral units include the supply of<br />
condensing unit(s), valves and controls. These units are<br />
self contained and are ready for installation on delivery.<br />
b) Prices for “less condensing unit models” include the<br />
fitting of expansion valves, thermostats and time-clocks<br />
as well as the provision of sealed liquid and suction line<br />
pipes terminated in the ‘unit compartment’.<br />
Prices do not include condensing unit.<br />
NOTE: Condensing units must not be installed on top<br />
of remote cabinets – some additional stressing has to<br />
be built into a cabinet to withstand the weight of a<br />
top-mounted unit.<br />
IMPORTANT! Appliances must be positioned in well<br />
ventilated areas permitting constant free flow of air<br />
to the condensing unit, not exceeding specified ambient<br />
temperature. Condensers must be cleaned as and when<br />
required to allow suficient air flow. The frequency will be<br />
dependent on site conditions.<br />
> SPARES<br />
Once a product has been purchased any spares required<br />
can be purchased from the <strong>Foster</strong> Spares Department.<br />

> PACKING/CRATING<br />

> IMAGES RELATING TO SPECIFICATION<br />
All images and / or photographs shown are for<br />

Cabinets and Integral Products<br />
> SITE ACCESS<br />
We recommend that site access and position is checked<br />
for all products prior to delivery and installation.<br />
This is particularly important on 2 section cabinets and<br />
2, 3, 4 and 5 door counter models.<br />

> EXTENDED WARRANTY<br />
If you wish to upgrade or extend your warranty package,<br />

<strong>Gamko</strong> Warranty Policy<br />
> STANDARD WARRANTY<br />
24 months parts and labour with an additional 12 months<br />
parts only.<br />
Trolley Loading and Modular Products<br />
> INSTALLATION<br />
Modular products are supplied with a coldroom panel<br />
plan and installation guidelines. NB. Modular products<br />
must be installed on a clear, flat, level, smooth and hard base.<br />
> RECESSED FLOORS<br />
Where floors, perimeter walls, or screeds are to be<br />
recessed for flush entry, a relevant recess depth<br />
from finished floor level should be provided. Please<br />
specify/indicate ‘recessed floor’ and ‘wiper gasket<br />
door’ requirements on order instructions.<br />
> SITE ACCESS<br />
We recommend that site access is checked to ensure<br />
that products, particularly coldroom panels, can be<br />
manoeuvred to the point of installation.<br />
> HEAVY DUTY APPLICATION<br />
We recommend the use of appropriate wall<br />
protection and/or floor reinforcing/insitu floors for<br />
any uses other than pedestrian/light trolley. Please<br />
contact the sales office for details.<br />
> TOLERANCES<br />
A minimum tolerance of 25mm should be allowed for<br />
every 3 metre panel run to ensure adequate clearance<br />
for installation between walls, columns etc on site.<br />
> DELIVERY & ERECTION<br />
