We made the decision to list our property with Reuben as our agent after he informally approached us last year with an offer to prepare an independent appraisal. At that stage, we were not totally sure about selling our property but we were very impressed by Reuben’s proactive approach in keeping us informed about the local market. At that stage, there was no apparent advantage to Reuben keeping in contact with us but we were stuck with his professionalism, dedication and passion for his job. This was in contrast to other agents who we made contact with in passively inspecting properties at open homes. It never ceased to amaze us that that very few of those agents even bothered to make contact with us following these inspections and, in at least one case, we may have been active buyers had the agent shown an interest in us. When we decided to make the decision to sell the property, we had no hesitation in deciding to proceed with Reuben as our agent. The decision to sell your family home is never to easy. Indeed, it is quite a nerve-wrecking experience and it is during this uneasy time that you need an agent that keeps you informed, tells you the unedited feedback and steps you through the process at key milestones. Even at times when we were not sure about certain decisions that needed to be made through the campaign, Reuben never wavered in his belief and conviction in his recommendations. His manor throughout the campaign was one of confidence, but he also displayed great empathy towards us and was more than happy to answer any questions we had throughout the campaign. In fact, he very much encouraged questions and engagement with us. Reuben was a dedicated worker for us throughout the campaign. He was very keen to meet with both of us face to face at regular intervals and keen us constantly informed. It was very apparent to us that Reuben was regularly chasing prospective buyers. There were also prospective buyers who were not obviously interested in our property but Reuben left no stone unturned in seeking out clarification about their interest levels. Whilst Reuben is undoubtable knowledgeable about the local market and connected within his network, you also want an agent who is thoroughly organised. This was Reuben’s strong point in our view. Reuben went that extra mile for us, often working outside normal business hours to deliver the best possible outcome for us. In our face to face meetings, Reuben helped streamlined the process with set agendas and delivered his regular feedback reports in a timely fashion. Reuben’s start as a real estate agent is on the rise and if you are looking to sell your property in the western suburbs of Brisbane, you would do no better than retaining Reuben as your agent. We have already recommended Reuben to our family and friends in the event they ever become interested in selling their property. We could not have been happier with our experience in selling our property. Whilst we obtain a very good outcome on the sale in terms of price – that is not the only factor in judging the success of your agent appointment.
