AS A PRELUDE TO THE ANTIBES SHOW, Edmiston is holding an open day aboard<br />
the 61 metre (201’) discovery yacht Absinthe. Clients are welcome to come and look<br />
over this mighty adventure vessel that, after many years of long distance voyages,<br />
is now for sale.<br />
The event is held in conjunction with Eurocopter. Their top rated EC135 will be<br />
parked on the helideck and test flights can be arranged in advance. The EC135 and<br />
Absinthe’s strict US Coastguard helicopter facilities (including a refuelling dock) neatly<br />
display the best of both worlds.<br />
One of the most versatile discovery yachts, Absinthe is equipped for all action<br />
adventures. Enormous storage space for tenders and sports equipment prepares the<br />
yacht for voyages to different climate conditions – from tropical heat to arctic freeze.<br />
A very successful charter yacht with enormous potential, she has a surprising turn<br />
of speed, crossing the Atlantic in nine days and averaging 13 knots.<br />
Beneath her rugged exterior is an elegant interior style with large saloons, a media<br />
centre and library. 12 guests sleep in seven double and one convertible cabin, including<br />
an upper deck owner’s suite.<br />
At US$15.95m, she represents good value for such a large yacht and is available<br />
for charter in the Mediterranean this summer as well as inspection at the show.<br />
