WHO I AM:
I believe in the power of design to change lives. To me, design is more than
just creating a space; it is about telling a story and empowering individuals
through their environment. Since design touches all aspects of our daily lives,
it is important that the spaces I design contribute to a person’s well-being.
WHAT I AM
PASSIONATE ABOUT:
My passion for design lies in humanitarian and socially responsible
design. To me, the power of design is the opportunity to change
lives, and to have a hand in that transformation using my design skills
is a very humbling experience. I am also passionate about museum
design. Every space people encounter has a story to tell within its
walls. Specifically, museums are designed to tell stories, whether it be
a moment in history or to bring awareness about a current issue. This,
to me, is another reason why design is so powerful, its ability to bring
awareness and potential change.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Designed for the non-profit
organization MoLab, the project
involved producing renderings of the
proposed design of a mobile bus,
MoLab. MoLab provides hand-ons and
engaging STEM activities throughout
the Tallahasee Community and other
surrounding areas. As part of their
fundraising efforts and marketing
initiative, the founders requested
renderings of the proposed MoBus and
marketing materials.

This project is part of JRA Architects,
Inc.’s proposal for the South Walton
Tourist Development Council Visitor’s
Center. The task required the intern
to complete an exterior rendering
of the proposed renovations for the
Visitor’s Center. The intern also worked
on completing a SketchUp animated
walk-through of proposed interior of the
Visitor’s Center.

Completely design a hotel in a foreign
country. The design must incorporate
research about the country’s culture,
history, geography, climate and
demographics.
CONCEPT:
Baobab Tree
Although natice to the Savannahs’ of
Africa, a baobab tree can be found in
the older of Recife, Brazil. The tree was
planted by African slaves 400 years
ago, and became known as the tree of
life. This tree symbolizes the rich and
diverse cultural heritage of Recife.

The Great Barrier Reef
Providing healing services to a diverse
group of people is the main function
of the health clinic. This function is
reflected by The Great Barrier Reef,
thought it’s ability to heal various
species that inhabit the reef. This
contributes ot the reefs continuous and
healthy existences

It means knowing where you came
from in order to get to your destination.
This philosophy best exemplifies Fiat’s
mission, “to build cars with attractive

To design and build a child-scale,
cardboard furniture inspired by a
children’s book. At the completion of
the project, the piece was donated to a
local children’s daycare. The piece was
left neutral in color so that the children
are able to decorate it.
