<strong>CBA</strong>’S MISSION<br />

The Colorado Bankers Association seeks to provide economic<br />

opportunities for Coloradans through a sound and competitive<br />

banking environment by advocating public policy consistent with<br />

that, and enhancing banking’s skills, image and unity.<br />

MEMBERSHIP<br />

BENEFITS AND OUTCOMES<br />

you live and watch it develop under your responsible, protective<br />

guidance? We give you that opportunity. The Colorado Bankers<br />

Association represents 90% <strong>of</strong> all banking assets, <strong>of</strong>fices and<br />

employees in the state, from community banks to multi-state banks.<br />

<strong>CBA</strong> is the voice <strong>of</strong> banking in Colorado. Join us to be heard on<br />

government relations and to get involved with our latest education<br />

and training. Only FDIC-insured, taxable financial institutions are<br />

members.<br />

LEGISLATIVE EXPERTISE<br />

<strong>CBA</strong> works for Colorado banks. We are a strong advocate working for the industry<br />

and making sure your voice is heard. During the 2016 Colorado legislative<br />

leadership in seeking regulatory relief for banks, worked to educate lawmakers<br />

about the unfair competition from tax subsidized credit unions and the Farm<br />

Credit System and supported legislation to permit banking <strong>of</strong> the marijuana<br />

industry where marijuana is state legal.<br />

EDUCATION AND EVENTS<br />

<strong>CBA</strong> strives to <strong>of</strong>fer bankers a variety <strong>of</strong> education opportunities.<br />

<strong>CBA</strong> hosts dozens <strong>of</strong> opportunities for bankers to get involved and<br />

stay informed. From our yearly Legislative Luncheon to our Annual<br />

Summit to the dozens <strong>of</strong> educational <strong>of</strong>ferings in between, <strong>CBA</strong> is<br />

the premier resource for bankers who want to reach new heights in<br />
