<strong>Arval</strong> <strong>wins</strong> <strong>major</strong> <strong>industry</strong> <strong>awards</strong><br />
Last night <strong>Arval</strong>, Europe’s leading operational leasing and fuel management company, became the<br />
Leasing Company of the Year and won the Best Product or Service award at the prestigious Fleet News<br />
<strong>awards</strong>.<br />
The Leasing Company of the Year award recognises the best contract hire and leasing company for<br />
2010. The judges were looking for companies that provided benefit to fleet decision-makers over and<br />
above that of the competition. They were particularly looking for a focus on services, cost reduction,<br />
environmental initiatives, safety and risk management and innovative products.<br />
The Best New Product or Service award was given to <strong>Arval</strong> for its Grey Fleet Calculator which stood out<br />
by providing effective support to fleets in managing the complex area of grey fleet. The term ‘grey fleet’<br />
relates to any vehicle which is owned by the employee but is used for work related journeys. Designed<br />
and built by the <strong>Arval</strong> Consultancy Team, it allows customers to model their company’s grey fleet travel in<br />
a simple, logical and structured way covering the areas of cost, emissions and risk.<br />
The <strong>awards</strong> were held at the Grosvenor House Hotel last night, and organised by Fleet News, the most<br />
prominent publication in the fleet <strong>industry</strong>. Commercial Director Fiona Hall, and Sales Director Jenny<br />
Powley, collected the <strong>awards</strong> at the black tie ceremony in front of more than a thousand key players from<br />
the fleet and automotive industries.<br />

and one that we are very proud of. These accolades are a reflection of the effectiveness and stability of<br />

This is the third consecutive year that <strong>Arval</strong> has been recognised at the Fleet News <strong>awards</strong>, previously<br />
winning the Best Leasing Initiative and Safety <strong>awards</strong>.<br />
