Reg. Destruction of Unclaimed Certified Copies prepared till 31<br />

May, 2011 and Applications for Supply of Certified Copies<br />

(Under Objection) for the period i.e. from 1 June, 2010 to 31 May,<br />

2011.<br />

Advocates/Litigants are requested to kindly contact Copying Agent at the<br />

Certified Copy Filing Counter on any working day to collect the certified<br />

copies prepared till 31 st May, 2011, lying ready for delivery pursuant to<br />

the application made during 1 st June, 2010 to 31 st May, 2011. However, the<br />

said certified copies, if not collected by 24.12.2011, would be destroyed in<br />

the first week of January, 2012, without any further notice and the amount<br />

deposited for such attested copy shall stand forfeited in view of Rule 10A<br />

added in Ch.5-B, <strong>High</strong> <strong>Court</strong> Rules & Orders Vol-V, published in the <strong>Delhi</strong><br />

Gazette on 01.09.2009 and as per the receipt issued for supply of Certified<br />

Copy, which contains a note that “in case the attested copy is not collected<br />

within 120 days from the date of its preparation, it will be destroyed<br />

and the amount deposited for such attested copy shall stand forfeited”.<br />

The Advocates/Litigants are further requested to contact Administrative<br />

Officer (Judicial), Copy'A' in Hall No. 4, Basement, Extension Block of the<br />

<strong>High</strong> <strong>Court</strong> of <strong>Delhi</strong> on any working day to collect the applications made for<br />

supply of Certified Copies during 1 st June, 2010 to 31 st May, 2011 which<br />

are lying under objection. However, the said applications, if not collected<br />

for removal of objections, by 24.12.2011, would also be destroyed in the<br />

first week of January, 2012 and the amount deposited for such attested copy<br />

shall stand forfeited.<br />

A list of such applications is available with the Copying Agent and also on<br />

the <strong>High</strong> <strong>Court</strong> Website.<br />

C I R C U L A R<br />

In continuation of Circular bearing F.No. e-court(PF)/Comp./DHC/No.593 dated<br />

16.08.2011, all concerned are hereby informed that the facility of<br />

providing digitized data of the cases (except the orders part) to the<br />

Advocates appearing in e-<strong>Court</strong>s, free of charge is further extended for<br />

another three months i.e. 10.02.2012.<br />

All concerned are requested to submit their application for supply of<br />

digital copy of the cases pending in the e-<strong>Court</strong>s of <strong>Delhi</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>Court</strong> in the<br />

set format along with the CDs/DVDs to the <strong>Court</strong> master of the <strong>Court</strong> where<br />

the matter is listed for hearing who in turn will forward the same to the<br />

Portfolio Department. The CDs/DVDs containing the digital data can be<br />

collected from the concerned <strong>Court</strong> Masters. Only those Advocates who have<br />

already filed the Vakalatnama will be entitled to apply for digital copy.<br />
