About me<br />
“I think <strong>music</strong> is a source of eternal peace and joy which I always love to share with<br />
listeners.”<br />
I was born on 14 September in a <strong>music</strong>ally rich family. My<br />
parents noticed my interest in <strong>music</strong> and decided to start<br />
teaching me. I am very fortunate to have my father as my first<br />
Guru.<br />
My father Shri.Shirish Panse, himslef a noted gazal writer and<br />
poet of marathi and hindi language.He is fortunate to work with<br />
many gazal artists and have given gazal performances on<br />
air.He has a credit to work with Mohammad rafi and all singers<br />
of that era. I started learning vocal classical <strong>music</strong> from Pt.<br />
Mukund Marathe who is now giving me the "Talim" of singing and presenting <strong>music</strong><br />
performances.<br />
I also have received valuable training of gazals from Pt.Hrishikesh Mahale (disciple of<br />
Shri.Anup Jalota and Padmabhushan Jagjit Singh). Pt.<br />
Mahale also tought me about expressions and esthetics of<br />
<strong>music</strong>. I also have shared stage with Pt.Mahale many times.<br />
With good knowledge of classical <strong>music</strong> , I present<br />
Natyasangeet, Bhavsangeett, Bhaktisangeet, Abhanga<br />
,Bhajan, folk and other forms of light <strong>music</strong>. I am very<br />
fortunate to do more than 400 programs till date all over India.<br />
I also work with new <strong>music</strong> directors of my generation. Pune<br />
aakashwani, Radio city have broadcasted my <strong>music</strong><br />
performances.<br />
I also have got a chance to record voice for ads, jingles, documentaries, dramas etc I<br />
also have performed in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The programs were the combination of<br />
marathi and hindi <strong>music</strong>.<br />
Geet Ramayan<br />
My Geet Ramayan programs have been broadcasted live in US from India. Geet <br />
Ramayan is one of my favorite. I always like to present it for audiences many times.
I had taken a part in Geet Ramayan competition in Pune. Shri. Shridhar Phadke and<br />
Shri. Anand Madgulakar were the judges. I got a chance to win this competition and it<br />
boosted my confidence.<br />
Musical Performances:<br />

5. Diwali pahat In the presence of Shri. Babasaheb Purandare, performed bhavgeet,<br />
bhakigeet, natyasangeet and some other light <strong>music</strong> forms<br />
6. Surmayee sham Programs of gazal, qwalis, murja and geet<br />
7. Swarsandhya Program of uncommon marathi and hindi songs<br />
8. Swarsparsha Program of uncommon gazals<br />
9. An evening with “Sudhir Phadke” Compositions of Shri.Sudhir Phadke
I have designed few thematic programs as follows, which I present regularly<br />
1. “Pt.Jitendra Abhisheki Ek Swaryatra” Compositions of Pt.Jitendra Abhisheki<br />
2. Nakshtranche Dene This includes songs of <strong>music</strong> directors, singers, lyricists<br />
3. Vitthal Geeti Gava Abhangas and bhakigeet of saints for Lord Vitthala<br />
4. Geetramayana This is my solo performance where I present selective geet<br />
ramayan songs<br />
5. Raagrang Marathi, hindi compositions based on classical ragas.<br />
6. Life of woman This includes songs of all phases in a woman’s life<br />
7. Mala umaglele kalakar This program is like interview and songs where I talk about<br />
singers, <strong>music</strong> directors and present their songs.
After this, we as a group started performing hindi songs. We have been presenting hindi<br />
song from last few years. We perform with live <strong>music</strong>ians or karaoke tracks.<br />
I specially perform the songs of Late. Mohammad Rafi. This is the style which I think<br />
suites more. In many programs, audiences have given this feedback. We have been<br />
invited at many places to perform as a group. We also implement new themes every<br />
time so that audience find something new in our programs.<br />
Now a days, karaoke system is also used widely. We have designed thematic programs<br />
using karaoke. Based on the time available, we can design the program.
Small programs and concerts :<br />
We ahead formed a group with professional <strong>music</strong>ians in Pune and started getting the<br />
invitations to do small programs. These are for limited audience.
Harmonium training I am working as Harmonium accompanist for classical and light<br />
<strong>music</strong> programs. I received basic training from Ms. Ranjana ghatpande, receiving<br />
advanced training for classical from Shri. MIlind Kulkarni<br />
I have won various prizes in <strong>music</strong> competitions held in and out of pune
