It’s all ‘go’ at Honeywood, the Satterley
Property Group’s new estate in Perth’s
southern suburbs, with the fi rst home
lots due to go onto the market soon.
If the expressions of interest from potential
buyers are any indication, Honeywood will
become one of the most popular masterplanned
developments in the metropolitan
area.
Around 1700 people have already logged
in to learn more about Honeywood, which is
strategically located on the eastern side of the
Kwinana Freeway in the suburb of Wandi.
Th ere will be a total of 800 lots ranging in
size from 360sqm and 580sqm with frontages
from 12.5 metres to 18 metres.
Th is variation in lot size will encourage
an imaginative mix of housing options from
some of the State’s most reputable builders
who will be constructing a range of homes
in the display village. It will be the largest
display village in the southern corridor.
Th e fi rst batch of 95 lots in Stage One will
be sold within the next few weeks, initially
to those who have registered their interest
through the Satterley website.
Future plans for Honeywood include
some higher density development close
to a proposed local train station and
neighbourhood shopping precinct.
Th e station, on the Perth to Mandurah
Rail Line, will be about 600 metres south of
Rowley Road and within walking distance of
the estate.
Honeywood is 25km south of Perth. Th at
equates to an average trip of 20 minutes
into the CBD by car. Fremantle is a similar
distance away and residents will have a head
start using the Forrest Highway on trips to
the South West.
“Th e initial response to Honeywood
has been signifi cant and has exceeded our
expectations,” Satterley CEO Nigel Satterley
said
“Th e price of home lots in this fi rst release
are still being fi nalised but they will represent
Mr Satterley said that home buyers
