Under the Waste Battery Regulations you can find portable battery recycling facilities at your local Civic Amenity site, supermarkets and shops that sell batteries
will have collection bins for used batteries, and some libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End-users may find stores in their local area more
accessible.
Due to the Government regulations called Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) all battery and electrical equipment sold by Kleeneze will carry the wheelie bin symbol.
Items carrying this symbol should not be disposed of in normal household waste. The WEEE regulations are designed to reduce waste production and improve the environment.
Kleeneze is part of the WEEE Ireland recycling scheme. You can dispose of your WEEE goods in
your local Civic Amenity site. Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection
bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also have collection points.
