<strong>Acuitus</strong>: Website Redesign<br />

Our production phases are:<br />
Research and planning: this includes project planning, top level functional<br />
needs, user goals, business goals and user experience research<br />
Creative: creating concepts, developing them through prototypes,<br />
applying visual designs and developing detailed functionality
Sectorlight deliverables<br />
Newly crafted user personas<br />
Updated sitemap (iterated through visual design stages)<br />
Visual designs of up to eight templates for the new website<br />
• Delivered as both flat visuals and layered PSD files<br />
• To be used as the visual tool that will allow Blackpig to technically build all page variations<br />
Animations for page elements<br />
• Proof of concept animations to be supplied as rough cut HTML5 or MP4 movies or as links<br />
to similar animations that already exist<br />
• Blackpig to use these as the basis from which to build the actual animations in HTML5/CSS33
Sectorlight systems and tools<br />
Sectorlight use TeamWork for macro-level project management and resource balancing<br />
• Blackpig will not be required to have access to this<br />
For micro-level task allocation and work management, Sectorlight use Trello<br />
• Blackpig have had accounts created on Trello for use with this project<br />
• Trello will be used for the majority of project communication rather than email<br />
• Trello will be used as a Kanban board, asset transfer, decision matrix and task allocation tool<br />
• Trello will be used for asset transfer during the project unless file sizes are very large, in which case WeTransfer<br />
will be used and the link reported within Trello<br />
For general project day-to-day communication, Sectorlight use Slack<br />
• Blackpig have had accounts crated on Slack<br />
• Slack is to be used for general communication only and not to send assets<br />
• Slack is to be used for rapid fire Q&A, clarifications, etc.<br />
• Any decisions or project deliverables that result from communication in Slack will be actioned within Trello<br />
Both Trello and Slack will be configured by Sectorlight project manager
Work in progress presentation<br />
Visual designs, personas, sitemaps and other project deliverables that run through multiple phases<br />
will be uploaded to Trello<br />
Where visual designs need to be presented, they will be "wrapped" in a simple HTML frame so that they<br />
can be previewed easily<br />
• the location of these HTML wrappers will be posted to Trello
Product owners<br />
The technical product owner at Blackpig will be David Higgins<br />
The technical product owner at Sectorlight will be Jason Anderson<br />
The product owner at <strong>Acuitus</strong> will be Richard Auterac<br />
The product owner at Sectorlight will be Melinda Rena<br />
Initially all communication will go through the relevant product owners<br />
Secondary contacts will be introduced where required during the project<br />
• Christopher Skrzypek as project manger at Sectorlight<br />
• Sam Turner as designer as Sectorlight<br />
• Dan Furr as art director at Blackpig<br />
• Required additional contacts at <strong>Acuitus</strong>
<strong>Process</strong> overview between Sectorlight and Blackpig<br />
Template design will be phased<br />
• Sectorlight, <strong>Acuitus</strong> and Blackpig to agree on phases once sitemap agreed<br />
For each phase of template design<br />
• The visual templates will be provided to Blackpig by Sectorlight<br />
• Blackpig create these templates in code and present to all parties via a proof site<br />
• Once all parties agree on these templates, Blackpig to start implementation of functionality<br />
(back end work) on these templates<br />
Comments, updates, feedback etc. between Blackpig and Sectorlight will take place through Trello so<br />
that all requirements can be tracked and progressed through workflow
