The Company IST METZ
IST METZ develops environment-friendly UV technology
for the UV curing of inks, coatings, silicones and
adhesives. Our range of products includes complete
UV systems, UV components, UV lamps, reflectors,
UV measuring and control equipment as well as
inerted systems.
The IST METZ Group of Companies
The IST METZ international group of companies was
founded in 1977 and has more than 500 employees
worldwide. Sales and service companies in France,
the UK, the USA, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, China,
Sweden and Thailand ensure on site customer support.
Our subsidiaries develops and manufactures all the
core components in-house. “eta plus electronic
gmbh” produces the UV lamps and electronic components
for all IST UV systems. “gerhard metz metallbau
gmbh” produces the housing units. “S1 optics”
and “VDT Vakuumtechnik Dresden” respectively carry
out the optical- and vacuum-coating of the reflectors.

IST UV technology for industrial applications
UV units of IST METZ with different working
widths are used for the curing of two-dimensional or
three-dimensional parts.
A big advantage is the very compact and spacesaving
design of the units. Because of shorter drying
distances they need less space. Surface treatment in
industrial application makes special demands on the
techniques used because of the three-dimensional
objects involved.
Therefore IST offers a range of different reflector
types so precisely meet the curing requirements
concerning reflector geometry and reflector coating.
IST UV technology in the graphic arts industry
In the graphic arts industry, UV and thermal
drying systems have been specially developed for
either direct or mobile installation for all press types
including: sheet-fed offset, rotary offset, narrow and
wide web flexo, letterpress printing, screen printing,
stamp printing, metal decorating and varnishing.
