CONSERVATION OF ENERGY
Over the last few years considerable advancement
has taken place in the reduction of energy. Advanced
lighting using low voltage LED lighting systems and
more efficient heating and ventilation equipment alone
have made a major reduction in the use of energy.
Solar and wind power are being used very effectively
and during the next 10 years will be making up to
20% of our total energy supply. We have numerous
installations in this field which demonstrate the savings
that can be made.
• Lighting energy reduction is up to 50%
• Heating and ventilation up to 25%
• Power factor correction up to 33%
• Digital and time control of outside lighting up
to 32%
• Insulation of domestic, commercial and retail
facilities up to 28%
Energy saving of up to 50% with the introduction of LED
lighting at The Barbican Centre, London
