We are a Dutch company and operate from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport with several
hubs around the globe. We stand for hospitality and strive to give only give you as
the customer the best service we are able to give.
We did not want to start out as a small airline and built it up from scratch. After some
years of research, we finally had a perfect mix of modernism and comfort. You can
see this in all of our aircraft. Actually, you can see this from the moment you are at
our check in desk. Our friendly crew will help and assist you to make your journey as
pleasant as possible. No matter if you are a business or a leisure passenger.

We pick our products and partners carefully. Our fleet consists of Boeing, Airbus and
Bombardier aircraft. These aircrafts build up our fleet. These aircraft have some of
the advanced technology currently available.
We spent quite some time working with our partners to ensure that all of our products
succeed our quality tests. Only the best is good enough for our passengers.

We give all of our planes some tender loving care. This means that you will get the
full luxury experience of the aircraft because we put so much attention to detail in it.
Because of all this attention we have the most modern airplanes available. This
means that there will be a lower fuel consumption and the noise that the airplane
produces is a lot lower than other airplanes is the industry. All of this means that you
will be flying the eco-friendliest and people friendly airplanes in the sky!
Details on board
All of our planes are equipped with LED mood lighting. This will not only give the
plane a very comfortable ambiance, but this will also help you with your jetlag. Our
seats are made out of leather and of fabric which creates the best and most
comfortable seats in the industry. We give all of our passengers* an amenity kit filled
with luxuries. This will be your personal care set.

Nine summer season travel tips
How to survive your journey
Whether you’re flying for business, pleasure or
even mixing the two, Starpoint is working hard to
ensure a seamless journey wherever you are
heading. However, with thousands more
passengers flying at the same time via our
network during the peak season, we have some
tips to make your journey as smooth as possible.
1. Leave enough time
Know the minimum checkin
time and factor in longer
waiting times at security, so
you’ll arrive at the gate
before check in closes.
2. Know your way
Arriving at the wrong
terminal – or even airport –
for your flight can be easily
avoided. Go online on our
app and find the airport
you’ll be traveling to.
3. Check for tags
Those easily-missed, small
stickers featuring barcodes
or a series of numbers can
confuse airport scanners,
ultimately making the
difference between arriving
with or without your
luggage. Remove any old
ones before you take off.
4. Name it
Including flight details,
destination and phone
number on your checked-in
luggage makes it easier for
us to reunite you with your
bags in the unfortunate
event you arrive without
them. To avoid taking the
wrong bag off the carousel, a
bright ribbon, luggage tag or
colored strap makes your

This South-European country has a lot of places you should see. Most of the time
and almost always in the summer it’s really warm. Between 30-40 degrees. In the
winter it’s around 15 degrees. Their capital city is Rome. We’re going to tell you
about Rome, Venice, Milan, Naples, Sicily, and Sardinia.

The capital city of Italy is Rome. Rome has 2.800.000 residents. There’s a lot of
sightseeing that you can do. The things you should see are: The colloseum; The
colloseum was build 1 century after Christ in Rome.
, Pantheon, Forum Romanum, Spanish stairs, Circus Maximus, Angel Bridge, Sint
Pieters Church, Sixtijnse Chapel, Sint Pieterssquiare and the Trevi Fountain. If you
want to take the subway to some sightseeing places, you can buy a loose ticket
every day for only 3,00, and then you can travel anywhere you like! If you don’t want
to take the subway, it’s better to walk, then you will see more. If you want to go
shopping, Rome is a good city to go shopping. You have stores like Zara, Nike,
Footlocker, Adidas and more

go. Venice is a city in the north-east of Italy.
It’s the capital of the region Veneto. Venice

Milan is the second important city from Italy. You can recognize it by its stadium ‘San

explore Naples and the town Pompeii.
Naples is a city where you should go
sightseeing. There are a lot of things
to do like going to Pompeii, Vesuvius,
take a city walk and explore the
restaurants because of the cheap
prices. This is Pompeii. A lot of
tourists go here to visit the old
damaged town Pompeii and the
volcano Vesuvius.

If you want to have a relaxing holiday and also
where you can go sightseeing, go to Sicily. Sicily
is famous of it’s beautiful beaches and the
Volcano: ‘The Etna’.
The biggest town of Sicily is Palermo. Palermo is

there, make a city walk and visit some museums
if you like.

Malta
The biggest island of the Islands of Malta is Malta itself. It is 316 km2 and counts
around 415.200 citizens. Malta has a lot of beautiful beaches, which makes Malta
very touristic. Also the capital Valletta and the former capital Mdina are a tourist
attraction.
Gozo
Gozo is the second of the 3 populated islands of
the islands of Malta. Gozo is 67 km2 and counts
31.000 citizens. The most important city of Gozo is
called Victoria. Form there you can take busses to
all the most touristic places like the blue window.
Most people take the ferry to get to Gozo.

Comino
Comino is the third of the 3 populated islands.
Comino is 36 km2 and is populated by 5
citizens, originally form Gozo or Malta. the most
and only touristic place on Comino is the blue
lagoon, which is clear blue water between
Comino and the smaller island Cominotto.
Cominotto is an unoccupied island where people
can swim to from Comino.

Valletta
Valletta is the capital of Malta. Valletta itself
and the area close around it count almost all
the citizens of Malta. around 300.000 people
live in the area’s Valletta, Msida, Gzira,
Sliema, St. Julian and Swieqi. There are a lot
of monumental buildings in Valletta like St.
Johns Co-Cathedral which shows the
beheading of John the Baptist. That’s why
Valletta is on the UNESCO world heritage
list. Also the saluting battery is a very
important thing in Malta. every day at 12am
and 16pm a canon is fired to remember the
Maltese army who fought for their island and
people in the second world war.

Mdina is the formal capital of Malta. first Mdina
was the capital because it was central in the
country. But later around 1566 they made
Valletta the capital, because it was easier so
see and attack armies who were getting to
Malta from Italy over sea during the first and
second world war. And because Valletta has a
lot more opportunities because it has a big
harbor.
Marsaxlokk
Marsaxlokk, also pronounced as
Marsaslok, is one of the last traditional
fishing villages of Malta. Here is the
traditional Maltese boat, the ‘Luzzu’, still
big in use. Also the fishery is here still
the biggest in whole Malta. With good
weather, this is a very nice village to go
to. You will find lots of good restaurants
here with the freshest fish you can find
on the island.

Popeye Village
Fun facts:
the movie POPEYE was filmed in Malta and the original film set can still be visited
which you can find under the name Popeye village. You can meet popeye, olive and
all the other film catacters, take a picture with them and joy a small film.
The cross you see in the maltese flag, also called the ‘maltese cross’ is given to al
the maltese citizens, because everyone fought for their country in the second world
war. Alhough everyone thought Malta would fall easely. Because the gouvernment
could not give every individual citizens an award, they chose to put the symbol in the
Maltese flag.

Germany is a country in central-western Europe. Germany has 16 states and covers

that are famous in Germany are: Hamburg, Munich and Cologne. Germany is most
likely known for the historical stories that the country entails. From beauty stores,
museums to the German revolution until World War ║. This country has a lot of
history and beauty ready for the world to explore.

is located in the North-West of
Germany. There are approximately
3.5 million people who live in Berlin,
that is because not only is Berlin a
great place to live but also to
discover many, many stories that
the city entails. Berlin is covered
with beautiful forests, parks rivers
lakes and gardens.

discover all of the great things Berlin
has to offer you don’t have to dig
deep, the city is covered with beautiful museums and historical buildings and there

are still at the good address when it comes to Berlin. There are multiple shopping
centres and there is a big variety of restaurants, bars and not to forget, the nightlife in
Berlin is a one of a kind experience!

Hamburg is one of the big cities

located in the north of
Germany. There are

people who live in Hamburg.
Hamburg is officially called
“Free and Hanseatic City of
Hamburg”. The official name
for Hamburg was formed by the
fact that Hamburg was a
member of the medieval
Hanseatic League.

Hamburg is the 2 nd largest transport hub in Europe and is an affluent city in Europe.
With headquarters and facilities of Airbus, Aurubis, Beiersdorf, Unilever and a lot off
innovative startups Hamburg is a pretty important city when it comes to transport.
Hamburg is also a great city when it comes to theatres, museums, concerts and
festivals. A couple of the biggest theatres in Hamburg are the Thalia Theatre, the
Ohnsorg Theatre, Schmidts Tivoli and the Kampnagel, where you can see beautiful
pieces of theatre form artist’s all over the world.
The city also has a lot of art and history museums you can visit such as: Kunsthalle
Hamburg, Ernst-Barlach-Haus, Johannes brahms Museum, museum der Arbeit,
Hamburgmuseum, Museum Elbinsel Wilhelmsburg and Museum Godeffroy, where
you can really see the history of not only Hamburg but also Germany itself.
Hamburg is well known for the classical music. Hamburg State Opera is a leading
opera company. The city has many orchestras’ such as the Philharmoniker Hamburg
and the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra. The main venues where these orchestras
preform is the Laeiszhalle and the Musikhalle Hamburg.

Festivals is another thing where
Hamburg is noted for. Some are
street festivals such as Gay-Pride
and Hamburg pride festival. The
Hamburg Dom is Germany’s biggest
fun fair and is held three times a
year. Filmfest Hamburg, the festival
of cultures, and the Christmas
market are also known to be held in
Hamburg.

Cologne is another one of Germany’s
great cities and is located in the west of
Germany. Cologne has approximately 1
million residents and is hereby the fourthlargest
state in Germany. Cologne
located on both sides of the Rhine River
and is a short 8 kilometres from Belgium.
The city has a famous Cathedral and the
University of Cologne is one of Europe’s
largest and oldest university.

Munich is one of the big cities that is located in the south of Germany. There are
approximately 1.5 million people that live in Munich. Munich is an important city when
it comes to art, advanced technologies, culture, innovation, education and tourism.
The name Munich comes from the old middle high German term Munichen which
means “by the monks”.
In Munich you will find a lot of well-known business company’s such as BMW,
Siemens, MAN, Linde, Allianz, MunichRE etc. Munich is the home to a lot of national
and international authorities, universities, museums and theatres. Munich is also
known for its architectural attractions, sports events, exhibitions, conferences and the
very well-known Oktoberfest.
Sports is not an unknown thing when it comes to Munich. First off all we have
football. Munich is home to several professional teams such as, Bayern Munich,
1860 Munich and SpVgg Unterhaching, Bundesliga and Regionallia.
Second we have swimming, Munich has ten indoor swimming pools and eight
outdoor swimming pools which are being used by the cities own team, the Munich
City Utilitites.
Other sports that are being practised in the city of Munich are basketball, ice hockey,
river surfing and not to forget, the city has three annual road running events. One
held is October, one is July and one in December.
Munich also hosted the summer Olympics in 1972, the 2006 Football World Cup and
maybe in 2018 Munich will even be hosting the Winter Olympic Games.

La Cuenca
Spain is a country in Iberian islands in the southwest of Europe. Spain has around
48.000.000 residents and is 505.992 km 2 . Spain is bordered in the North to Andorra
and France, in the West to Portugal. The capital of Spain is Madrid, Madrid had over
3 million residents. Spain also has a lot of different nationalities, cultures, food and
climates. Spain is a famous country to go on holidays. It’s almost good weather the
whole year, especially in the summer. In the winter the south is warmer. When you
go to Spain there are a lot of places that you can visit. Spain is really beautiful and
there is a lot to see. The culture and the nature is really different everywhere around
the country.
Barcelona
In Barcelona is a lot to see and a lot to visit. You
can visit different places and buildings. One of the
places you should visit is the Sagrada Familia,
that is a church what is built by Antoni Gaudi.
They started building in 1882 in Barcelona and
even till today they are still not finished. They are
building the church with the money of donations,
that probably explains why it is taking so long.
The inside of the Sagrada Familia is even more
impressing than the outside.

Park Güell
Another thing you can visit is Park Güell,
this is a city park at the greenest place in
Barcelona. It has a lot of tree’s and beautiful
nature. In the entrée is a big snake made of
mosaic. Is going through the whole park,
you are able to sit on this snake all the way
through the park. On top of the park you
have a balcony where you can see the
whole city.

Camp Nou
Beside all those places you also can
visit camp Nou, that is the official
stadium of FC Barcelona. If they are
not playing a match you can visit the
stadium and have a look around.
Beside all the tourist places you also
could go to La Rambla for a day.
That is a big famous street with a lot
of shops and restaurants. Over the
whole street there are little shops
and street artists.
Madrid
In Madrid there is also a lot to see. One of the
things to visit in Madrid is Palacio Real. This is
the palace of the king of Madrid. The palace
had 3418 bedrooms and is the second largest
palace in Europe.

You also can visit the Santiago Bernabeu
stadium. It is the home basis of the footbalteam Real Madrid. You can visit the
stadium if you would like to see Cristiano Ronaldo or maybe David Beckham. If you
buy tickets, you will be able to see the whole stadium from the inside.
Beside all those beautiful nice things you can also visit the market Rastro. Every
Sunday there is a very big market in the area El Rastro. The market is separated in
different streets. On the main street you mostly see clothes. If you go in the side
streets so find stuff like art, books or furniture. On the market you will find a lot of
restaurants and bars.

The most beautiful places or buildings are beaches, churches or museums. One of
the places you could visit is Costa Del Sol. Costa Del Sol is a beach which is 300
kilometers long. It’s on the Middle East side and it goes through the capitols Málaga,
Cadiz and Granada.
Another place you could visit when you are in
Malaga is the Museo Picasso. Malaga is the
city where Pablo Picasso was born. So a
museum of him can’t miss. Since 2003 is the
museum open for tourists. It’s located in the
buenavista palace what is built in the sixteenth
century. There are allot of masterpieces of
Pablo Picasso in the museum for example the
“Madre y niño en Mosquetero con espada”.

Curacao

Willemstad
Curacao is a beautiful island located in the Caribbean. Curacao is located between
Aruba and Bonaire and is the most popular Island in the Caribbean so far. Many
tourists choose Curacao for a pleasant holiday and to rest. Curacao is best known for
the unique colored houses, the big bridge, our delicious food, the nice culture, the
sunny weather, the Floating Market, the salt pans and of course the beautiful
beaches.
Down town shopping
Shopping at Curacao’s historical city center will
make for a perfect day out. The city is divided by
two, Punda and Otrobanda. Punda the southern
part of the city is also home to the island’s most
famous Floating Market. The Floating Market sells
daily fresh fruits, vegetables and Batidos. Batido is
smoothie made of fruit. Otrobanda the western part
of the city offers mane more shopping opportunities
from the high-end fashion shops at the Renaissance
Mall, to the souvenir shops at Rif Fort.

Curacao is a very busy island; you always
have something to do or somewhere to go
to. In the city of Curacao, Willemstad we
have the Pelican Express especially for our
tourists. We give them the opportunity to
discover more about Curacao by sea. The
Pelican Express is a boat that sails through
the port of Curacao. Curacao also opened
a big Mall called Sambil with over 165
stores, a movie theater called Cinemark, 4
restaurants with terraces, the largest Food
Court and more than 1,400 parking stalls.

One of the advantages of Curacao is
the fact that it is surrounded by
beautiful crystal clear Caribbean water.
Curacao has a public but also private
beaches. We have more than 30
beaches on the Island. At most of the
beaches you can get the opportunity to
snorkel and sail. At Sea Aquarium
Curacao you can go swimming with
dolphins, play with seals and see
underwater tortoise. The most popular
beach on the Island and every tourist
loves is the Kenepa Grandi. There is
always a nice atmosphere, music, BBQ
and a mountain where you can jump
from in to our crystal clear Caribbean water. Cabana Beach Curacao is also a very
nice beach and more touristic. At Cabana Beach we have multiple bars, shops,
activities and restaurants. You can enjoy live music every Sunday night from 20:00 till

Favorite dishes
The cuisine of Curacao is a flavorful mix of Dutch, African
and Indonesian food. In Curacao we love the eat fish and
meat with rice or Funchi. Our local food is based on
slavery. Slaves of the past used to get Funchi every day to
eat. Funchi is a very heavy meal. Also known dishes in
Curacao are the Jambo. Jambo is a soup made of

air. In Tower 2, which is the highest of the 5 towers,
is located on the 74th floor the Observation Deck at
300 vantage point. From a height of 300 meters can
be enjoyed from the observation deck a magnificent
360 degree views of Abu Dhabi and the various
islands off the coast. Furthermore, you get a good
view from the 74th floor over the new and gigantic
Palace of the leader of Abu Dhabi and the 5 star
luxury hotel Emirates Palace which beside the
Palace.

If you have the Khaleej Al Arabi Street drive then you soon on a modern building
which is remarkably skewed. This building is known as the Capital Gate and is by
Guinness Book of Records recognized as the "world's Furthest Leaning Man Made
Tower", that is, the most leaning tower built by man.
The building leans up to 18 degrees to the West, this is four times more than the
Tower of Pisa! The building has 35 floors and 160 meters high is thanks to its striking
appearance a much photographed building in Abu Dhabi. In the building is the luxury

Epke Zonderland
The Flying Dutchman
Epke Zonderland is born in Lemmer at 16 th of April. He is 1.72 meter tall and his
weigh is 68 kg. Epke Zonderland is a professional Gymnast. He is Olympic champion
and world wide the best on the horizontal bar. We arranged an interview with Epke
Zonderland about his career and about his life how he keeps fit and energetic. Epke
Zonderland is a blonde, muscular physician-in-training and occasional player from
the Netherlands. Epkes family where always been a sport family his siblings were
also always busy with sport or doing things. He was never alone in it.
About Epke
Normal people play football at the beach or boulevard but while we were waiting for
the bus we pushed our self on the racks by the bus stops. In 2012 Epke won a
Golding medal at the Olympic games in London. Epke Zonderland was the first
gymnast at the horizontal-bar that has a three combination flight elements in a
routine. But in 2016 on the Olympic games Epke Zonderland felt of the horizontal-bar
because his hand slipped away. He had one more chance to fix his mistake but it
didn’t go very good.
His career
Since the start his career of a professional gymnast he needed to put everything
beside and focus only at this. But he trained really hard and focused 100% on the
sport. He trained every day and now he is able to do three flight elements in one
routine. Epke Zonderland was 16 months not able to train properly. But it was not a
reason to sit down and do nothing. Epke found enough things to do so he would not
shit tight and do nothing. While he keeps his focus on the sport he put more time in
spending time with his girlfriend, his family and his friends.
How do you feel about it?
“Sometimes, I’ll go over the limit; I’m aware of the health risks” those where the
words of Epke. Epke also had sometimes a few bad falls while making somersaults
of the bridge. He became afraid of somersaults. But his siblings always supported
him and always pushed him to the limits. He thinks it over and choice to move on
step by step. “I got over it, but the realization that could decide to stop on my own
was very important: gymnastics became something I really do for myself.” Epke
worked step by step to the limit and he did. In London he won a Golding medal and in
Rio de Janeiro he almost won a Golding medal. Epke lose everything for this sport
and did everything to be successful.

Dafne Schippers
Goddess of Speed
Dafne’s training camp is at Bradenton, Florida, but the photo shoot takes place at a
nearby high school athletics track. She hasn’t come here to relax. In fact, there will
be no rest until she is holding an Olympic gold medal. Her star has risen rapidly.
August 2015, Dafne won gold at the 200 m sprint of the Beijing World
Championships. In one fell swoop, she became a celebrity. Amidst all the excitement,
you’d almost forget that the world champion is a very young woman, who has
fallen in love and likes to spend weekends with her mum and dad. She is down to
earth, cheerful and open. ‘My world has been completely turned upside-down’. Dafne
says as she picks up her Caesar Salad.
What do you find difficult?
Quite a lot actually. Suddenly, everyone wants something from you.
The response you get from people is nice, but my shopping trips
take a lot of time. I am not really used to getting this much attention.
I also find it difficult when people have nasty comments on social media.
That is really difficult. But I have better things to do like go to my training.
What kind of games do you rivals play?
They will try to annoy me, or distract me. When I warm-up they will occupy my
starting block or stand there without a reason. They just stare at me when we are
together in one room. I enjoy it. I don’t use these tactics. But I have fun watching
them. I smile and keep going. Which they find really annoying.
If you are angry, does it last long?
If I lose, half a day later I am back to normal. I used to throw my shoes onto the track,
but I have learned to cope with losing. They said: ‘if you show your anger, your
opponents will see you are emotionally weak and will play games with you.
And on top of that, being angry costs a lot of energy. If I am annoyed after a race,
I look for a quiet spot. Where I can let my frustration go.
Do you get nervous before races?
No. I am not so easily impressed by anything. I am confident, I feel power. I want to get
from A to B without anyone stopping me.

and e-readers may be used at all timed
but only if they are in airplane mode.
Larger electronic need to be stowed
during taxiing, take-off and landing. If
they also have a wireless function they

throughout the entire flight. On some
flights we offer Wi-Fi. You may use the
wireless function for this purpose.
Lithium Batteries
Phones, laptops and other electronic
devices contain lithium batteries. Those
batteries can fire. Therefore, they are
dangerous. Please only charge your
device while you’re not asleep and keep
an eye on them when you charge them.
If your device falls between your seat,
please do not move the seat and ask a
cabin attendant to help you find your
device.
Smoking
Smoking -Including artificial cigarettes
such as ‘E-Cigarettes’- is strictly
forbidden at all times and on all flights

Rules for hand luggage
at EU airports
For the safety of all the passengers in
the sky and at the airports there are
strict rules for hand luggage. This is for
all flights. When you pass through
security at the airport you are required
to show all liquids -like gels, toothpaste,
perfume, etc- in a separate container.
These liquids need to be 100ml or less.
If they are over 100ml they will be
discarded. These fluids need to be in a
clear sealable bag with a maximum of 1
liter capacity.

The Uniform
Our newest uniform is the best one yet. Our
uniform exists of a black dress and a turquoise
scarf and heels/flats. The flight attendants also
wear a wing with the Starpoint logo on it. They
need to earn their wing in a six week intensive
training.
The training is for your comfort and safety. Only the best cabin attendants will complete
the training and will earn their wing.
Our uniform gives an example of a represented airline. Our flight attendants have to
tighten their hair into a pony-tail or bun, wear reprehensive nail-polish and make sure
they wear some nice simple make-up to show the passengers that we are there for
them and always approachable.
In the aircraft you have flight attendants, a purser and the pilots. The purser is the
team leader of the flight attendants. She wears exactly the same as the others but
has a different wing.
Amenities
Passengers on a flight longer then 5
hours will receive an amenity kit and
depending on the time a blanket and
pillow. This amenity kit conceives of a
sleeping mask, lip balm, earplugs, warm
socks, toothbrush and comb. If needed
you can always request a blanket or
pillow on all flights.
