board of directors. While LHSC is the beneficiary of our efforts, our duty is to act as<br />
trustee on behalf of donors, ensuring that the funds we raise are used as you, our<br />
donors, intended.<br />
Government funding of hospitals helps to ensure that everyone in our province has<br />
access to a good, standard level of health care. Donations through LHSF enable the<br />
dedicated doctors, nurses, researchers and staff at LHSC to provide extraordinary<br />
