DUTY Thelma Duty McKinney, 2952 Fir Park, Fort North,<br />

THOMAS Texas 76118 - Eliza THOMAS married George DUTY,<br />

28 Sept. 1798, Granville, Co., N. C. They bought<br />

land in Sumner Co., Tenn. 1805, had children: Phillip, Henry,<br />

George Gwenn, Barton, William and Jefferson. George Duty died,<br />

Sumner Co., Tenn. 1812-13. Eliza and children moved to Hempstead<br />

Co., Ark. l8l4-l5? On April 6, 1821, Eliza bequeathed a slave<br />

girl to "my youngest son, Jef·ferson DUTY, "putting the girl in<br />

charge of "my oldest son Phillip DUTY". Hempstead Co., Ark.,<br />

Deed Book A, page 62. What happened to Eliza DUTY after this (?)<br />

Phillip DUTY married Sarah CLARKin Ark., ca 1826-28. Where (?)<br />

They lived in Lafayette Co., Ark. by 1829. Were they on the same<br />

property when Lafayette County was formed from Hempstead in 1827 (?)<br />

By Decernber 1835 they were living in Red River Co., Texas, where<br />

Phillip died 1855. Henry DUTY married '(2) Hempstead Co., Ark. to<br />

Nancy JONES, 1838, moved to Falls County, TX. George Gwenn DUTY<br />

d. Lafayette Co., Ark 1834. Jefferson lived in Claiborne Parish,<br />

La. 1836. Need information on Jefferson, William and Barton DUTY,<br />

and especially on Eliza Thomas DUTY.<br />

Information desired on "Jess· DUNN and wife Nancy<br />

Gilbert. Twin sons were born to them in Baxter Co.? Ark., 23 August<br />

1888/9, William Wylie and Henry. They moved to Faulkner Co., Ark.,<br />

after their sons were born. Any information on any ancestor or<br />

descendants will be greatly appreciated. All S.A.S.E correspondance<br />

will be answered. .<br />

WILSON Mrs. Glenn Mulhern, 576 Cross St., (P.O. Box 606)<br />

New Braunfels, Tx 78130 - Robert Kyle WILSON is supposed<br />

to be the son of Samuel WILSON and Nancy Kyle Wilson. Robert<br />

Kyle Wilson, b. ca 1829, Tenn?, married Sept 1847 (lise. issued in<br />

Washington Co., Ark., wife Nancy Fleming. One son WaS Clinton Arthur<br />

Wilson, b. 4 August 1857, Milam Co., Tx. I have located two Samuel<br />

Wilsons: on the 1850 Census. One lived in Benton Co" Ark. and the<br />

other in Washington Co., Ark. They both came from North Carolina<br />

originally. Robert Kyle Wilson and family were in Benton Co., 1850.<br />

Can anyone help locate something to connect the family? The Kyles<br />

and Flemings are found in the same a:t'easat the same'time as the<br />

Wilsons. I have not located anything to tie them together. I will<br />

appreciate any help. My father was Claud Wilson, b. in Milam Co.,<br />

Texas, 9 Sept. 1892.<br />
