BIOGRAPHY
My name is David Valcarce Álvarez . I was born in
Madrid but I have lived in Ponferrada since 2003.
Here I work in a bowling alley but my vocation is
related to musical industry . That´s why I have just
established my own company called LISTEN & READ
LABEL STUDIOS where we make CD-books and Book-
CDs that, basically, are the same.
PRESENTATION OF SMALL RAIN LIES
Today I´m presenting the BOOK-CD whose performer is the poet and artist Juan
Carlos Mestre. Its title is SMALL RAIN LIES . Inside the book there are poems , beautiful
illustrations which are authentic watercolour paintings made by Juan Carlos Mestre
himself , a ticket for a poetry reading and , naturally, a CD with the poems recited
by Juan Carlos Mestre .

AUTHOR
Juan Carlos Mestre was born in
Villafranca del Bierzo and has several
awards such as National Poetic
Literature 2009 for “La casa roja” and
the award Critic of Castilian poetry 2012
for “La bicicleta del panadero “ .
We have bet on him because he´s a
sure bet and there was an unfilled need
among people who like listening to
poetry because there hardly were poetry readings recorded on CDs.
On some performances Mestre has counted on the collaboration of other artists
such as Amancio Prada, María José
Cordero ( from León too !) and other
musicians.
The target audience of this BOOK-CD is
every person who likes poetry, art …No
matter the age. With SMALL RAIN LIES
people who don´t like poetry will realize
that poetry can be as exciting as the
best song in the world !!
Here we can see Mestre
dedicating one of his books by
drawing an authentic
watercolour painting. He usually
dedicates his books in such a
way !!

Mestre observed by two children after a poetry
reading and an exhibition of his art treasures.

We had to build a FACEBOOK OFFICIAL because despite its cons Facebook and
other social media are powerful tools for marketing. Facebook is modern , cheap
and full of possibilities . Its name is , as the label , Listen & Read Label Studios. On the
page you can see our products, promotions, publications , videos , advertisements
, concerts, poetry readings, likes and dislikes !! We have already 120 likes !!

We have designed a TV ADVERTISEMENT so that we can reach as many consumers
as we can . You can watch it on the Facebook of Listen & Read Label Studios . The
storyboard advises us to try new experiences . Our
product offers not only the possibility of reading and
listening to poems but it offers going out and enjoy a
poetry reading at one theatre or whatever place. As
far as poetry readings by Juan Carlos Mestre they are
unique experiences that people can´t miss out !.
